Learn how to lose. No, seriously, learn how to lose your lane/jungle and not be a 2 ton pile of flamer the team has to haul around. Ok, we get it, the enemy ganked you, counters you, or is just plain friggin better. Going 0/5 by the 10 minute mark does nothing to solve that. Learn to ward deeper, leave before that 15 health mark, stop trying to 1v1 the 5/0 fiora you created as cho'gath and understand that the other guy didn't do ranked this season until now and is on the bronze warpath back to his plat 4 rank last season. You WILL lose games, you WILL lose lanes, and your team WILL lose their respective lanes.

Take off the tunnel vision blinders, ward, and play smart. 4 other people still need their 5th.

This, quite honestly. There are people I play with whom instantly give up the moment they die once or twice, then proceed to play worse as the game goes on and spam surrender.

The point of the game isn't to get as many done as possible, the point is to try and win as many as possible.

Well, then there's those people who go positive every game, and lose anyway, despite scoring spectacularly.

KDA is only a stat, and I've won many games with bad scores, but by putting pressure on the map or simply giving kills to laners and becoming a bruiser to soak up CDs this game can be played so many ways,

I mean evem people who take tons of turrets and do a lot of good shir, but let their teammates lose the game for them because they don't help out properly.

Ahem, playing the game like it's CoD

Yes teams will lose you a game, you cannot alwYs solo carry this is a fact, my point is learning how to be consistent will help, just practice and taking time to understand the mind games. I've gotten pretty far playing the way I've learn league, and others will to. When it comes down to it, it's a team game, you will lose if you are worse than the other team at killing the nexus

Yep. What I was pointing out was as follows: you need to know how to take advamtage of a lead, while also minimizing losses when you are behind.

This is exactly what I go through as an ADC because that role is extremely team reliant, if you can't get decent teammates most of the time you're gonna lose. We can't split push, we can't engage and get a good stun off, we can't focus down and kill the enemy carry we just gotta stay alive in team fights. But if you don't have teammates to do that other stuff, or more importantly keep you alive, you're going to lose a ton of games with good KDAs, and that shit happens to me A LOT!

It's rough. I'm a top main that likes the squishy toplaners. Sooo, I'm on the other end of the spectrum.

I don't affect much because I'm top most of the time. If I'm not I'll get bitched at because our jungler is too busy getting gromp/golems to stop tryndamere from split pushing.

If I picked anything else I'd be even more useless because either we lack damage or their toplaners are bullies.

And so I become team reliant. I can't fully carry from top lane and so if my team is crap, I'm fucked.

I played trundle earlier. Me and bot fed. We ended up winning anyways because we got 2 free barons.

Trundle - where it doesn't even matter if you feed, because if the enemy Zac camps your lane, you'll get that juicy powerspike Zac: item 3742 item 3143 item 3065 item 3193

Learn from the Master Yi, "The key to immortality? Not dying."

OP be like "The key to climb elo? Not losing."

Yes!

............

But yeah, OP's other tips seem to be solid.

Actually, yi is right. Low elo especially need to learn this, Not dying> getting kills.

THIS THIS THIS THIS

Don't be a baby.

Don't whine when you are losing.

Don't start blaming people for the loss.

Focus on what you can do to win.

It doesn't matter if it works or fails, only that you made the optimal plays (and ideally communicated the plays to your team).

Honestly the amount of tilt-proof honors I get for having a bad game, or being flamed at by people. You got to have nerves of steel and keep your toxic waste off the rift if you ever want to win a game. Sure you may get annoyed and be having a bad time but that doesn't mean you should give up. Hell you may believe to your last breath a game is over BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU SHOULD QUIT.

Every game can be won, not every game is going to be a win and you aren't going to be the next Faker right away. If you are getting tilted just loosen up and realize it's only a game. You will lose some games and have some bad ones. But for every bad one, you'll have some good ones.

Simple as that.

I haven't actually checked the stats, but I have a gut feeling that I win more games where I feed then where I get fed.

Why? Well when I get fed, there's this huge pressure on me to carry the game, and there's a good chance my allies aren't doing as well. I won't be playing quite as well because I'm so focused on making plays, and my allies don't play as well because they're tilted from feeding.

When I feed (or get behind without quite feeding) I'm super focused on enabling and empowering my stronger teammates to win: I draw fire, peel for them, and try to bait fed enemies into over-committing to kill the worthless me, and it works.

Lol no ranked is luck bro unless you're way too skilled fro your rank. I have literally not been carried by my teammates during a bad game in like 2 weeks. Why? Because I'm unlucky so teammates are consistently bad. If I don't play at least average, or most of the time, if I don't flat out carry their asses I'm not winning anything.
