You know what's broken? Homeguards boots

Im not syaing that they are terribly broken or stuff like that. But in lategame you will almost always end up with this enanchement for your boots no matter what because they are just THAT MUCH USEFUL. Just like TP is too much mandatory for toplaners.

So i would like to see more different effects on the other boots upgrades because right now they are very situational.

Either buff the others, or nerf Homeguard

It's not that Homeguard is OP, it's that towers suck, which makes backdooring super easy, which makes homeguard super useful. If towers actually mattered, backdooring wouldn't be as effective so you wouldn't need homeguard so people would pick something else.

I see why it is a popular summoner spell but it is not mandatory. Trying to sneak a diss doesnt strenghten your argument.

Tp is one of the strongest if not the strongest sumoner in game

can save a tower can take a tower (making minion imortal) can gank a lane presure drag stops you from missing cs(basicly back for free)

flash? lol tp is strong this season cause meta is "destroy the bot lane" and it makes easier for top laners to take a part in it

tp always been strong because of its manny usefull ways flash is indeed also verry strong and can be used both offensive and defensve but flash doesnt have as much objective controll as tp has do

summoner 21 summoner 3 summoner 7 summoner 14 r all different buy basicly the same they can win u a trade and have slightly different way of using them

summoner 4 summoner 6 r close but flash is deffenetly easy the best here in most situations summoner 12 is just more op than the others

Same. I'd rather have a permanent speed increase so that I can chase better, dodge better, flee better, and have that all be unconditional. Homeguard can help guard your home if need be, but alacrity is just more universal since it can be used offensively by everyone (and homeguard can only be used offensively by champs with teleport).

yes it is broken u have points ESPECIALLY IN GAREN,but: in 1v1 dueling fight against adc or if u r b in adc role or NOT DEFENDING THE TOWERS,u better get the red one boot.

As i said, the others are not useless, btu theya re situational and pale in comparison to homeguad

In Sion I get item 1306 and in Lucian item 1330 c:

Homeguard serves the purpose of guarding your home against sieges. Don't think buffing the others will remove that value =P

But ye the other two I never bought xD

I'm sorry but the most broken boot enchantment is item 1327 always buy Captain enchantment of janna. Usually run alacrirty item 1306 on leona and ali. So I feel they all have their own niche if used properly.

this is my favourite item because its like 5 > 4 min cd summoner 4 also a mov speed bonus, 27 > 40% mov speed on summoner 6 and also reducing its cd to around 180 sec thats like 3 min, and in summoner 12 using in a tower puts the cd in 216 seconds its pretty usefull specially for champs that rely on flash or ghost Galio Annie Fiddlesticks Hecarim

Nah, its only use basically is be at most full life when defending the base once the third tower falls or running at mach speed back to base. Aside from that, it doesn't have much use. item 1308 seems like a better all round thanks to more frequent flashing

I think Alacrity needs something more. Captain Im not sure, its pretty strong when used right. Distortion is underrated. Furor is pretty bad since it decays. Homeguard is just the most used since its the most gameplay affecting one late game currently. Most SoloQ players dont buy Enchants until end build so Homeguard obviously takes the cake.

I just gotta put this here.. my favorite comp back in s2/3 was the power trio of doom: Zilean mid Singed top... with summoner 6 summoner 1 and item 3009 and [shurelya's reverie] Lulu support

Singed would be a flinging, gigantic cruise missile that couldn't be stopped and had over 1000 MS...

when Homeguards was released, I basically sobbed nonstop in laughing tears when we mounted the Grand Defense... featuring Singed the Indestructible Cruise Missile running faster than a speeding bullet, tossing foes into a goo, and exploding in Glory and Justice!!!

Same with Summoner Spells. Mobility is so important now aways so 95% of the people have flash. They need to buff other summoner spells IMO. Like barrier and clairvoyance, they are just not as useful

And buff other boots enchantments like Captain and Alacrity or the red kiting thing (Furor) upgrade

The thing isnt that Homeguards are too good, it is that the others arent good enough.

Distortion are amazing if you have tp and flash. But if either are already on cooldown you feel like you are wasting power by getting it right then.

Captain is just bad. Alacrity has limited use. And Furor is only good for ADCs kiting, who can do it fine without it.

but they're only at their most useful when you're in danger of losing so i dont think its that big a deal. if my team is winning pretty handily im not going to get homeguard

Honnestly I think they should just implement a part of homeguard as part of the fontain:

Fontain Passive: Visiting the shop vastly increases health and mana regeneration. Regeneration is disabled for 6 seconds upon dealing or taking damage. This regen value increases depending on the ingame time.

#Homeguard

Homeguard: Visiting the shop grants 200% bonus movement speed that decays over 8 seconds. Bonus movement speed is disabled for 6 seconds upon dealing or taking damage.

I always buy alacrity on my boots, an additional 20 movespeed goes much further in the long run then being bale to get out of base in 3 seconds. In fact i often find myself ovgertaking champs who take homeguard when we both recall and leave spawn at the same time, by the time we've reached tower im overtakign him and getting back to lane much faster then he is.

Plus whenever you play a champ with a move buff of some kind like teemo or sonathats an extra 20 movespeed that gets factored into it.
