Bot lane is TO snowbally.
To be honest, playing in the bottom lane feels like walking along the edge of a cliff. One mistake and it's all over.
Botlane:
- 2 champions, 2x as much gold for a winning battle. Who ever wins immediately has a huge gold advantage, plus probably going to shove wave in to deny even more gold and EXP. (600 gold for 2 kills, plus whatever wave you pushed it ~100 gold, 700 gold is a whole 20 AD, which is huge early.)
- Builds are pretty darn similar early, bork or no bork, zeal item, boots, IE, maybe even a GA too. Gold = Items. Items = Power. The enemy ADC will be so far ahead after winning just one battle, unlike in top lane where it can bounce back and forth with relative ease depending on the match up.
- Towers fall like twigs due to 2 units and one being a DPS unit attacking it. I am also pretty sure first bot tower has the lowest tower health, which doesn't help because more often than not, bot tower falls first giving the gold advantage YET AGAIN.
- Ranged auto attacks make it easy to zone without a lot of fear of reciprocation. One you win a battle, you have power and power = pressure. Being ranged means you can just sit in the minion wave and AA/engage on the behind ADC while freezing to FURTHER increase the gold balance.
- Life steal is not uncommon, winning side has more and can abuse it. And because you can afford to actually freely farm minions, even if the opponent gets life steal they cant really work with it to actually reliably heal them, especially if you punish them when they go to last hit. Vamp scepter builds into bork and it only costs 900 gold, and unless they battle is super cheese early, more likely than not both ADCs will have it after.
I mean, as an ADC you don't have tools to deal with whoever is ahead of you, especially if their primary damage is just AA. You can't outplay AAs or cancel them unless you are Jax or vision dodge Kalista. after losing that first vital battle, you're only hope is just to hide under tower and lose a ton of farm and hope they don't freeze.
I didn't really mention supports all that much, but non engage/cc supports cant really do anything but try to keep you alive, as previously mentioned life steal just soaks it up and puts you more at risk to poke than them. Going all in and maybe with a jungle is the only option, and more often than not you cant because you are behind by such a large margin for a small mistake, even power spikes more often than not don't cut it.
