towers should just have a different ammo system when firing at minions vs when firing at champions

One of the reasons riot refuses to buff tower damage is that people won't be able to farm under turret (ridiculous reason, i know), so why not have the laser when firing at champions while keeping the bullet against minions?

It allows for easier balance levers (don't need to worry about minions), also doesn't prevent good juggling of turret agro as you are meant to when diving (takes time to ramp up like old lasers).

Situation when this arises: tower fires bullets at minions, enemy starts attacking ally. tower stops firing bullets and instantaneously starts firing its laser. Switches back to firing bullets at minions again when no champion takes aggro.

Why am i suggesting this? cuz any attempt of asking for tower buffs get rejected so I'm just providing an alternative.

I never understood the reasoning for Riot nerfing towers and that is one weak reason. Even if they must be weak offensively, it doesn't mean they have to as strong as butter.

It does have a different ammo system..... wtf are you talking about? Towers do set % health damage to minions.

3 hits for melee, 2 for casters and, what 5 or 6? for cannon. That is not % health. Unless I am confuse with percent max health, then please, correct me.

Why do you think that they always do the same amount even though minions get tougher.

It's pretty much % max health true damage to minions because durability is never taken into consideration when towers hit them. Just like how if you have 50 armor or 500 armor vs Fiora, her % max health true damage will always do the exact same amount.
