I feel people who go into champ select only picking champs that counter others are scum

Are you so mentally fragile that you are incapible of playing your main against another champ ?

Or are you one of those scum that has no main and plays every champion. You should be ashamed of yourself if you lost lane when u r counterpicking somebody.

I feel the only way you get good at this game is if you ONLY play 1 champion, if you dont get your champion, you dodge

This is a competitive game with heavy strategy elements. Counter-picking is a strategy and it's by no means a "scummy" strategy either, it's called being competitive.

its a strategic game, one that requires you to be diverse and adapt

playing only one champ and building only one build no matter what is idiotic

I have about 5 champions I'm good at in every lane. that way I can be viable no matter what comes and counter pick to better my teams chances of winning. there is literally nothing wrong with that and is in fact encouraged because THATS HOW THIS GAME IS PLAYED

Then again, there is reason why "pick phase" is a thing in Ranked, because counterpicking is just a part of the game's list of strategies. It may not be necessary in solo plays, but it's quite crucial in organised plays, theoretically anyway since these days it's just a race to see who get the more borked shit in organised pro plays.
