It still doesn't feel good to play AP

This season has just been pretty bad for AP. All their items got costs upped, Assassins are everywhere and have even gotten buffed and now that games are shorter, things are decided more in the early game, which is traditionally when AP struggles. AP are meant to be mid-late game champs and that phase of the game just doesn't exist anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that all AP champs are squishy and vulnerable to Assassins or that they all have tough lane phases and early games. But most of them do and more often then not it doesn't make sense to pick an AP champ, when an AD champ or bruiser will eat them alive.
