Look I'm one of those people who say Meta DOES NOT MATTER. I believe you can go any lane with any champion and some how some way make it work. http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2170418812/34553032?tab=overview

For today's Lol. I tried Soraka top against Renekton. Battle of the Endurance. 90% of most people in league will focus a target hard simply becaue they are familiar with that character's main role and how squishy they are. <3 But this game did nothing but bring laughter for my team. Renekon slices in, gets silenced and can't dice out, I throw a bunch of banana's and he loses 3/4 his hp bar.

Renekton tries again at 6, uses his ult when he is low and he sees me low, forgets what my ult does and once again he is shotdown. Rushed the iceborn gauntlet so I can spam and keep him from getting too far away. And for laughs Blade of ruin king just to add all the hate in the word for him. (that and being a solo lane was able to hit 6 before teammates and use ult if they got troubled by a gank.

Results: After Game and Team is laughing hard at a Soraka Top with Cheers. Renekton player had every excuse why Soraka "Counters" Renekton o.o. [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

Until renekton realizes he is retarded...

if i were in that role I would rush Tiamat. Then immediately get executioners...and spec Cowl...gg raka can't do crap.

Did he EVERR get executioners to deal with healing. Its a 850 G item that makes her useless in solo lane...I really don't understand. What league is this BTW?

Except for the fact that he wouldn't be able to dive behind the minion wave, combo her, and dive out (like he usually would). That aoe silence would force him to take minion aggro which is strong enough early game to stop him from trading, not to mention she can just heal back. Early game would be too much of a struggle for him to bully a raka out before she builds a Frozen Heart or something

Alright but you are against RAKA...No waveclear push and roam then. Still not seeing how she can beat him. he gets Tiamat and Executioners gg...

You assuming that I was depending on the Q, once I had taken his use of skill ability it was no different from fighting against a Tanky Adc. The Tiamat made him a better farmer but no way in hell did it help him if I rushed armor on him o.o

Yeah but what I am saying is...Push wave. hit her stop her sustain a bit...and roam. Raka cannot push the wave all the way back to your tower in Top. by the time you would roam mid B and walk back to lane. her waveclear is abysmal

If she rushed a Sunfires that strat wouldn't work very well, and it's build path would still provide the armour/hp needed to survive early game. While your waveclear advantage would work early, after the first back raka would be fine with controlling the wave with a Bami Cinder

Yeah I agree. I guess with someone like renek that falls off late and Raka actually getting items cause of having farm...

I gave it some more thought last night when i considered picking her into him...but I didn't because he only hovered the pick. Also as long as you have a tanky JG like sej Amumu and Tanky support I say go with it in the right match up.

Definitely man, I personally wouldn't do it because I'm not comfortable with solo laning as Raka but I can definitely see it working. Especially because it's an unfamiliar matchup which gives raka the mental advantage.

This was a great conversation man, it's not usual to have players with different opinions being able to discuss a topic and reach a conclusion without any salt, upvote for you :)

Completely agree. You should see 90% of the Douches I have to argue with because THEY get salty. i'm never the first to salt. Appreciate the conversation upvote for you as well!

Going to tell you a little secret. A person can have more CS, but if they die over 5 times can you really say they "won" anything?. He farmed off my minions I farmed of him and his teammates.

I mean if he is 0/5 but has almost 75 more cs than you.. he's almost even in terms of gold. You do have exp on him most likely but that's about it.

I mean, you can basically play whatever you want in silver / gold so long as you understand how the game actually works.

Back in s2 and s3 I would fuck around with full AP renekton top, just for the lulz. I usually won lane by virtue of understanding how to engage most champs with him.

It's amusing but.. Doesn't really prove anything.

50% slow on starcall makes her decent in lane, but they gonna nerf it to 30% slow at all levels, after that nerf she gonna be sucky in lane.
