As Shyvanna, I feel that ulting into an enemy team is most often a death sentence. (an idea)

So much so that i'd rather just use it to peel, kill someone 1v1 in a split push who has already burned flash, or as an escape. If you use it to try and engage a teamfight chances are your team cannot catch up in time to follow up given it's range and speed. Despite it's range and speed, it's not difficult for the enemy to sidestep, use a mobility spell, or flash away. You tend to just get blown up using the "scarry roaaaar I'm a dragon flying at you" ultimate that she has.

Would it be absurd to grant her extra resistances for a few seconds based on how many enemy champs she lands on with it? This way it would pad her survivability a bit in a teamfight scenario assuming you can flank well over a wall or aim your ulty good enough to catch 2 or maybe even 3 champs. Also, this would ensure that it wouldn't be overpowered in a 1v1 scenario or even in a gank as it's not a movespeed, cc, tenacity, or damage buff and it's based on how many people you catch with it. It's just a defensive buff for a few seconds, not to mention it'd be tied only to her ultimate so she has to reach lv 6 first, I don't think it'd make her overpowered in any way.

Thats bc you're not supposed to engage a teamfight w her. She's best used after the engage responded by enemy followup CC, THEN you go in

Especially w her massive hitbox in dragon form you shouldnt be going in early with how easy it is for anyone to CC you. Ult is meant to be more of a gapcloser and ability damage enhancer than to make you into a front line tank.

Isn't this exactly what the courage of the colossus mastery is?

"Gain a shield for 3 - 54 (based on level) (+ 5% maximum health) per nearby enemy champion for 3 seconds after hitting an enemy champion with a stun, taunt, snare, or knock up."
