Quick Reminder That The Jungler Is NOT Obligated to Gank You

The Jungle is pretty much their "lane", but without a tower. Their Towers are their farm pretty much, if they can't farm efficiently, thats like you missing CS (which a large amount of you do), they will fall off and will not be able to contribute to teamfights.

They aren't obligated to win their teammates lane's, but they should be doing something to apply pressure to the enemy team. Some possible ways of pressuring the enemy team include:

  • Holding lanes when allies are roaming/dead/recalled
  • Clearing enemy wards
  • Warding the river and enemy jungle
  • Controlling Scuttle Crabs for vision
  • Pressuring towers after an enemy dies
  • Breaking freezes by the enemy team
  • Counterjungling
  • (Counter-)ganking
  • Controlling Dragon and/or Rift Herald

While farming is important on many junglers, not applying any pressure is a blatant mistake.

mappressure wins games, if the enemy jungler wins 3 lanes solo while you afkfarm you get outclassed and people get mad about it, it happens. Obviously its also the laners fault but doing absolutely nothing as a jungler and then expecting your team to be " hey lets farm some more nidalee, get this golems while I get 4 man dived! Its okay" is kinda delusional.

WRONG.

jungler only gets 3/5ths gold (at best) and is always behind on exp than any other laner.

it is your job to provide map pressure and create advantageous situations/gold leads for your team.

the only reason you dont duo top is because its even worse in terms of splitting gold/exp.

your biggest asset is that your face is missing on the minimap 80% of the time, less if the enemy team is good at warding.
