I saw this idea somewhere else, and I claim no contribution to it(if you find the op, please post in the comments). But the ribbons really don't mean shit to just about anyone/make people want to stop being toxic. So wouldn't it be a good incentive to tip people for good behavior? It can be small like 5-10 IP or something big like 10000 RP, it's all the player's choice.
they would have to restrict it from premades though to prevent ip trading. otherwise a good idea

I just don't want teammates saying "donate me RP/IP or I will report you". Yeah their report would mean nothing but it's just something that would bother me after a while
I see being excessively friendly in this game as Bronze / entitled behavior. You shouldn't be rewarded for it.
That type of thing is supposed to be its own reward, a bunch of lol kids being nice to get more toys sounds annoying and insincere.
kinda meh on this since you'd probably have everyone and their grandma asking for gifts post-game with things like"omg plz i need like only a little to get this champ omg plz"
Well, you can already send players gifts and things with RP. I think an additional 5 IP or something would be fine. Mostly because I don't think even if people tried to abuse the system (gaining an extra 20 IP) per game would really be that much of a difference anyway. It'll still takes years of playing to get the champs and runes anyway. And just like Honoring somebody people would forget about doing it a few months after they implemented it anyway, but it would be nice to see something for when it does happen.
I like this idea, i own all but 3 champs and my lower level friends all want to buy champs now, this would give me a use for ip.
