I need help laning against some midlaners

Cassiopeia - I have never won a game against her since her rework. It feels like there's nothing I can do what facing her, if she even lands one Q from level 2 I get chunked to half hp by a few E's. Levels 3 to 5 are a complete nightmare because it's either I run through the miasma and take shit tons of damage or I try to fight her and die. I can't really out push her so I can't roam on her.

Swain - Haven't won a game against this guy in recent memory. When laning against him, I'm practically subjugated into playing almost perfectly (in which case I barely win the trade) or I get completely destroyed. Every time I've played against this champion he just positions wherever he wants regardless of how terrible it is. Then when he gets catalyst and level 6 it becomes impossible to kill him. Since I play mages, I can't particularly rely on morellonomicon because you only get grievous wounds when they're at 30% hp.

Malzahar - Not fun to lane against. He summons his voidlings and presses E ignite R on me and kills me. Even when I finish banshee's I still have to use sums not to die to him. I try to punish his early laning, but I can't go as ham as I want to.

There has to be something I'm doing wrong against these champions because I've never won lane against them. I'm not just going to say "Oh these champs are fucking broken wtf rito" because that's obviously a very histrionic thing to do. I'm not talking out of my ass here because I don't want to vent, I want help.

It's really just learning the match ups, but all people have those champs that they just cant win against no matter how much we try.

those match ups are less about trying to get kills on them and more about surviving the laning phase. all three of them are pretty difficult to 1v1 so I wouldn't suggest doing so unless you have a VERY clear advantage. As I said try to get past laning phase without trading very heavily. I understand its difficult because not only are they hard to fight but they also have great wave clear. practice last hitting under turret and don't be afraid to use abilities to help you keep up in cs, because as I mentioned before, you don't want to be trading heavily in the early stages of the game.

The other thing i can suggest is if you are playing against these champions try picking a champion who can also stay further back and wave clear to the same extent they can. such as lux, ziggs, Taliyah is usually pretty good (saw you play her frequently). and last but not least if you do have an advantage but you're unsure if its a good idea to all in ask the jungler for a quick gank. it doesn't even have to be an all in but just having their presence around your lane will kinda keep the enemy in check for a short time.

last thing I can suggest is trying to hard shove against them and roam even if its just to place wards down in the enemies side of the river putting the pressure on them to farm under tower instead of you but make sure you're warded up in case the enemy jungler is nearby.

for the most part playing vs any of those 3 is about being uninteractive and farming/clearing waves. Against Cass however you can force trades whenever she misses Q or go aggresive and attempt to dodge her q in order to out trade
