rengar's non empowered W should heal when used near monsters

his sustain in the new jungle is terrible, and really it shouldn't be that bad when he has it built into his kit. it wouldn't really be a major change because no one maxes W in the first place, and it has a relatively long cd, but making it so his non empowered W heals vs monsters would make a small but noticeable difference.

q is the ability to max first, and using the empowered q is the most effective in the jungle, and if you don't do this you give up a lot of damage across the board. his fury and empowered abilities just seem like a flawed design really, because you need the ad/as steroid you get from empowering q (in the jungle), but if you give up that for an empowered w, you end up taking just as much damage (if not more) because you didn't get the steroids..

His sustain is okay so long as you spam your empowered W whenever it comes up isnt this how rengars have jungled in the old season as well? and people idk just left it at lvl1 just find?

Yeah, only this would make rengar broken and he would just outfarm every jungler. Rengar is perfectly fine where he is you should just learn how to properly jungle as to not have to back every 3 seconds. And buy the purple item.

Or give back the small AS boost on q1 .that would also fix his early clear

Rengar's sustain in the jungle has never been good. Its intentional.

early game (pre 6), it wouldn't really make much difference what your build is, and to be completely honest his clears are slow even when maxing q, he should at least get some better sustain to make up for his terrible early game

Fully intentional. Also intended. He doesn't need buffs to his sustain.
