Ask yourself this.

Will League of Legends be fun after every champion gets "Balanced?"

For this example, I'll use Annie.

Annie's ult gets a "1.5 second cast time" rather than just instant. People are able to flash, or dodge, the ult in time. Her ult is no longer a "Point and click."

And what do you have there? What people has been asking for. "Balance." Then people will complain about her being "dumpster'd" or "trashed." And the cycle goes on, and on.

Well, How About Riot Nerf her damage?

People will still complain about her instant cast time, point and click, and aoe. Even if she isn't as useful as a AP carry, she still has the support role, where damage isn't a necessity. She can still make plays in team fights, where the game is either decided, or tide-turning.

If every champion was balanced, League of Legends would be boring. Think about it.

EDIT: I just used Annie as an example. Nothing against Annie. Seriously.

"1.5 second cast time"

She could probably get away with a 0.5-0.75 second cast time and still be pretty okay.

Mhm. Especially if you don't adjust her Q as well. She'll still be able to blow her whole combo in a 1v1, but stunning an entire team will be much more difficult for her.

Just an example. Not like I suggested it. Don't worry :v

Personal opinion, if every champion has counterplay to every other champion, the game will only be more skill based and interesting.

Thats exactly what I would like to happen. I was about to go into a in-depth discussion about it, but was like "Nah, I don't wanna wall-text this thing." Just a general issue people have been complaining about. Most people think that "the champion is broken" rather than trying to FIND a counter play. I don't know if thats common, or just me.

I wish they would have more broken champs instead of all being near each other. I would say around 3/4 of champs. That way you have more champs that can make a bigger impact on the game. Make it harder for a team to come back if the other team is snowballing pretty hard.

I mean, if I was a Riot employee, I'd want the game to be fun for everyone, not just one team. So when we're talking about balance, its pretty hard to find a WAY to balance it.

The way to balance everyone is to make them all overpowered.

exactly this is something that dota2 did which makes it possible for any champ to carry the game

Yet only a select few actually accomplish this... the ones that are capable of being tanky, dealing damage and having mobility.

If they don't have those 3 things they will never be top notch.

I remember I used to play as lich. And sure, he can get kills when everyone bunchs up allowing him to use his ult to maximum effectiveness. But you would have to be more clueless then someone in KKK robes in the ghetto to get yourself into a situation like that.

You only see the most overpowered champs doing well, cause faace it... they are more overpowered then the rest.

No,if Annie was balanced there will be a lot of reasons and fun to play the game, but just because she got so much damage while being the literally easiest champion in the game, upsets the actual good players who play many champs that require skill and got counterplay.

Again, it was just an example. Don't take it too seriously.
