Why are you doing this to AR(URF) riot?

Do you really want to kill this game mode or something?

I'm concerned what you're doing to ARURF will completely diminish it's fun. You've removed and regulated a game mode that was supposed to be fun for the length it's available. Now, it isn't fun for more than 2-3 games unless you win in the champion select. The champion pool is pretty limited, and it gets boring after playing the same champion a few times over and over again.

Honestly, if you really want to end this game mode, just do it in one go, not by slowly ruining our experience with this game mode.

I totally get making ARURF the standard. It puts everyone at the same level by getting random champs. But gutting the champ pool?? They just made a game which was already verging on stale wayyy more so by killing the best game mode. I am saddened.

Why can't they just bring back normal URF with 10 bans. I know they added ARURF because they thought it would be more fun with people not spammming OP champs, but I think most people would enjoy normal URF with 10 bans more than this. At least have normal URF as a seperate rotating gamemode

Yeah I totaly agree with you. This ARURF is just stupid and boring. Last time I enjoyed an URF game was before RIOT changed it.

You know they did the same sort of thing with dominion. "HEY GUYS NEW GAME MODE!" "Hey, all we need for ranked is to flip a switch, but we aren't because the player pool is to low" "Who cares about the bots that are leveling up in Dominion PvP?" "We don't want a balance team for Dominion, so here is one guy who will kind of pay attention to it" "No one plays Dominion, so its getting removed"

Sound kind of familiar to URF?

Can't agree more. I had no problem with ARURF even tho i wanted to play the original but it was fine and i really enjoyed. But what i found out is that this time, All of my mains are not in the game mode, which is insanely dissapointing. Here's a list of people i wanted to play but couldn't Azir Aatrox Camille Hecarim Leona Rakan Xayah

I even bought Azir right after the last ARURF, hoping i could play him in the next one, But uhhh no, i guess. I am glad that all the champions that you can play are avaliable in ARURF but Its worse than it was before. [sg-lux-2]

1 question did anyone played with as or against braum ot taric in arurf (snowday ot normal) i have nevwr seen them i only see 15-20 champions so what is the point of haveing all random if we are still geting the same champions over and over again

Well i used to love URF, since the first day it came out, i used to play 24/7 i stoped doing everything just to play it. When i saw ARURF i was like "not sure if i like this, im praying that they will change it", and now i see snowdown ARURF and im like fuck this shit xD i ain't playing league any more i lost all the fun of it and so does everyone i know, i played like 5 arurf in pbe and thought they were going to change cause everyone was complaining about it, well i guess not xD rip fun league

PS: Riot u should insert both modes, like a category saying URF, inside that insert "Winter ARURF" and "Normal URF". Just so everyone can enjoy the game. That's my tip u guys have no many employees that you can make that work i think.

Also, riot still hasn´t managed to find a way to make urf enjoyable without going back to the original, which is ofc, not an option. Riot promised they would never give up no matter how often they may have to reinvent the wheel to finally give the player base what they want without giving them what they asked for.

Its not regulated, unless you consider forcing the worst possible outcome in a game 80% of the time 'regulation'

TBH I'm not sure why people ever complained about old urf only getting the same champs over and over again. Its not that different from any other game of LoL.

Agree thats what was fun about it, sure maybe u get blindsided by vlad or some other untargetable cheese but at least u still enjoy whatever u chose for the match. Now u get hit by some cheese and then u are stuck with graves for 30 minutes, I honestly enjoyed poro king more than urd this year

Oh, I thought people liked the RNG aspect of league with overpowered runes and champions with RNG.

Riot addressed that RNG is good for this game and it's a super fun experience.

each new urf game mode just feels like you are being held a hostage. To start off ARURF if you get a bad champion and the enemy gets op champions you just can't do a single thing, so you are basically are being held hostage by the enemy and you wont stop getting abused by the enemy untill they decide to end the game. And now with snow arurf you are limited to less champions and still the same problem of being held hostage.

Normal games are pretty much semi urf because of the excessive cooldowns on items.

i rl dont care about urf,i actually hate it i never have fun with it everything is so op that i mostly see the game screen in black and white i dont have fun when i keep dying. just give us one for all damn it 5 shacos or 5 blitzcranks

yeah I'm a little confused why they limited the champ pool. To me, it's not worth it AT ALL just to be able to play in a snowdown skin, like cmon, it adds so little to the experience when the actually thought of a fun urf is what we look forward to. The summer one was pretty good imo, but this one is just lame, mainly for the stupid snowball thing. What I want for Christmas is a week of normal arurf, not this one. I will give credit where it is due though, the concept of the snow battle urf was pretty cool, unfortunately the execution just wasn't there
