So there's a thread near the front page accusing Riot of shifting their stance on RNG over the years and the general tone of the thread is that of thinking Riot has a malicious or negligent stance on introducing RNG into the game. I don't care what your stance on RNG in the game is, but don't start witch hunts when Riot Meddler has addressed the issue of Riot's official stance of RNG in the Dev Corner and has made it pretty clear what the team's stance on RNG is.

Stop the Witch Hunts and accusations. Remember the Dev Corner exists.

Randomly spawning jungle locations are too far, way too far. This is why people aren't happy. Games can now be decided based on luck by where the little bugger spawns based on how each lane/jg just happens to be faring at that time in that game. This can effectively remove the ability for someone not in a lucky positions ability to impact their own game.

That said, this is already a problem, where a player can dominate one area of the map and be dragged down by another area. Now it will be worse, and more random.

I believe this and that are two different issues, but I can see why the discussions go together so I'll answer you like this:

There's a very appropriate way to accuse Riot and address their issues and there's a very improper way to do so. Holgranth's thread discussing Riot's goals and how they will try to achieve them I believe is a good thread in how to call out Riot and start discussions because he takes information straight from the Dev Corner and accurately portrays and addresses them. He tries to understand Riot's point of view and calls out why it can be wrong. Take off some of the edge and add a link to the Dev Corner he took the info from and you've basically got an ideal thread.

On the exact opposite end of the spectrum you've got hi ìm groot's thread which is titled with an accusational rhetorical question, has multiple strawmen, and is in general really vague about any specific point while being highly accusational at those same vague points.

Address Riot's ideas for what they are, not caricatures with which to start drama on the Boards.
