I recently reached Lv 30 and I've played my first ranked game. It seems sort of like normals but there's much more roaming. But just in case, what do others expect you to do in ranked that differs from normals? I know that you have to focus more and try your hardest, but is there more to it than just that? I want to be prepared so I don't get flamed for not knowing what to do differently in ranked.
MaizeCraze3 votesMy advice would to be proficient at every role before you consider playing ranked. Because pick order dictates, I have had countless games where the 4th and 5th pick on my team are forced into a role they are not comfortable with because my teammates or I locked in their desired role.
I try my best to let them get the role they desired, but about half the time they do not and I only have control over 1/3 of the champions picked beforehand.
