Since I'm kind of new, I usually play support

(which I just started today) and sometimes I come across salty ADCs. I'm trying to heal them, sometimes helping them get out of the fight, and all they do is complain about me accidentally taking CS and not diving under the enemy turrent to heal them. Sometimes they don't even thank me for healing them at the last second when they're about to get pulverized by the enemy team. So may I ask, why?
hh the thinker2 votesit's not just adcs, but you will also get adcs who won't mind too much either. just let them know that you are new and willing to take advice. if they keep being rude, just let them know that your buttons won't work for some reason while they are rude so you can't heal and help them in lane, that or you could help top lane instead. basically, if they need you, they should be nice to you and in a lot of cases, they do need you.
they will either keep being rude in which case you should go help another lane as much as you can, or they will stop and everything will be good. there is nothing in the rules that say that you have to go bot as a support and stay there, and in fact a lot of supports roam, but new adcs or low rank ones often don't know how to play without a support in lane.

WarlockLaw2 votesNot entirely sure whether troll or serious, on the off chance it's serious I feel that adcs are the only role that cannot carry on their own accord but actually need a decent team to stop people from killing them so they can actually deal damage
Byakuya Kuchiki1 votesbecause ADCs rely on their team and if you main it you get real sick and tired of countless supports and peelers that dont do their job so you get salty a lot quicker, because the lol cumminty doesnt have many people that like to peel and shit ADC mains are a lot more toxic than the rest
