If you're going to play ARAM

Build something that actually works. Not something your champion has no scalings with. Ive seen AD Blitz to AP Jinx. Just... don't.

Weird random teams sometimes require weird builds, plus its a for fun mode so don't hate people for trying weird things there.

It's not about trying weird builds. It's about you building your champion in the somewhat right or completely wrong way. Like building full tank on a LeBlanc. No. Just no.

Don't underestimate the weird full tank either, sometimes that can win a game when you don't have a normal tank on your team and somebody has to do it.

Another example would be; Full AP Ashe, it is just plain horrible, but sometimes when your whole team is AD and the enemy if stacking armor and nobody wants to make the switch you kinda have to.

Builds are always situational, they depend of the composition of your team, the enemy team and what everyone is building, you have to find the right tools for the right job. And sometimes that can get just plain weird.

Every champion scales with AD, it increases the damage of right-clicking. Also, Blitz' W and E both scale AD and something like Muramana will give dual-scaling for his passive as well. Also, Jinx does have an AP scaling on her E, but I digress.

I actually agree with you, playing ARAM is not an excuse for intentionally trolling.

I sometimes do funny builds on any mode. Saying not to do it on ARAM because some people take it seriously is like saying you can't call someone racist if you're white.

I don't see how the 2 are comparable.

The game mode is built for fun, and I get that. You cant take it seriously very often. But not taking it seriously is different than building items that make your champion well rounded instead of increasing the strengths of your champion. Like building AP or tank on an ADC to make them a 'well rounded champion'. To me, thats the equivalent of throwing the game. Especially when you can see it's not going well but you keep building it anyway.

I once saw a Lucian build AP on ARAM. He carried.

Don't judge the builds.

I had to do ap Graves during a Tuesday Teamfight because the rest of the team was AD. It was surprisingly effective.

Getting Malzahar in a team full of AP is just the excuse I need to build AD without being called a troll

doiminat0r36001 votes

Yes but we had full tanks, and an AD. We needed an AP. But noooo, Blitz builds AD claiming "we don't have an adc". sigh

Blitz has a 200% AD ratio on E (higher than max rank Draven axe), meaning he can pretty much oneshoot if he crits on it. It isn't so viable, but it is rather fun. And we're here to have fun in ARAM.
