playing without chatbox is good

ok so after getting nailed with a chat restriction (won't tell the story so dont ask) i decided to keep doing pvp but i move the chat box off screen so i could not see it. by not seeing what others are saying i am less likely to get tilted by my team. and in return i do not say anything to them. i only speak in pre and post game. and i keep pings up regardless of spams (which i hate) as communication. while yes you could /mute all that is a bit of effort and with chatbox on screen you will be tempted to speak in chat which could land you in trouble. so it is better to move it off screen. while this is good it does have flaws. like if someone is flaming in chat i will not see it. however if they cry to the enemy is post chat i will know they were getting pissy at me and will silently report them if i see fit. so far it has been working. now for all you in the comments saying i suck, i am a noob, or whatever cause i am not using communication, stop and think (if you can). would you rather have salty ass teammates who use the chatbox to harass and tilt you rather than for actual gameplay communication or would you rather have no words at all use pings to communicate which has a less chance, if any, to tilt you?

If you type /mute all, you can see timestamp pings for map objectives and summoners though. But if you feel that you can't resist the impulse, then it's better to work around the issue the way you are.

i think its important to see the chat for a number of things

1 - all chat player that every time he get ganked he type something in all chat. you know he's tilted. there for if you camp him he will maybe go afk.

2 - pings of summoner spells.

use the unbind enter key with mute all and remake option. i can give you a link to a post here of how to do it.
