Lack of interesting and fun AP champs in comparison to AD brings full AD comps problem

Seriously, its every fucking single game whereas a top laner its either pick an AP champ or play with a full AD comp. I would have 0 problem with that except the AP champions have very different gameplay that is super fucking boring to me in comparison to AD champions like Riven, Camille and Fiora.

Even my mid laner doesnt want to pick AP these days and not to mention the jungle.

AD champs are fun as hell lets face it, AP champs are god damn slow and boring

Lol are they though? Or is that just your preception.

You're a top lane carry player (based on the champions you said), so it would make sense that outside of maybe Sylas that their wouldn't be to many AP champs who fit your liking.

Where as a mid laner, I prefer Mages, and even when I play assassins, I play AP Assassins. The problem isn't that AP champions aren't fun or satisfying to play, it's that some niche AD champions can beat them in lane and have a good impact on the game.

I like how ap type champions has all these godly powers OMG AOE till you find you a AD simple arrow out damages your entire spellset for some reason.

#logic?

The logic is balance, the ap casters gets cc, utility, mobility, etc with their cast compared to arrow being shot.

True but an 'weak little itty bitty' arrow fired by a archer vs amazing particle destroying lazers that gods send down somehow the arrow wins.

You are trying to bring realism over balance. It’s function > flavor, not the other way around.

If it was like that, A Sol would be broken because he thinks and blows up a star to nuke the planet.

Im not saying that extreme. Im saying from the special effects mages get they dont get much damage in comparison to adc burst. A adc is basically a AD mage that has never ending spells called autos.

Yeah and because of that, they tend to lack the tools casters have like hard cc and utility, sure, there are some special cases but most of it is tied to ultimates or long cds.

Sure, that arrow wielded gets sustained damage, but that mage has aoe stun and burst with longer range at that
