Why doesn't anyone play Galio?

He's on 57% winrate, highest right now. You'd expect everyone to jump on the galio train but his play percentage is less than 1%?

High % win rate means nothing if the champions has a low % play rate. He's very situational for when he succeeds and there's also the fact that he's just extremely boring.

Because people only pick him into those games, those less than 1% of games where he can get that 57% winrate.

Because he's ugly.

Where the hell does it say he has a 57% winrate?

Sukishoo1 votes

it's actually 56.9 http://champion.gg/

He has a 49.8% winrate on leagueofgraphs.

49.19% on OP.GG.

Most of those places go by day or week, where as champion.gg goes by patch.

League of graphs goes by patch.

7.3 is 6 days old, OP.GG can go by past 7 days, which is what i went by.

Its in part why he is getting a rework

only people who like him play him so they know how to play with him and so they win

I play him all the time on my smurf, just cause I can... cause its funny when people can't figureout how to deal with it in bronze elo. Normally I don't though on my main cause he's not that great, and his rework will be upon us fairly soon, so that he will hopefully come back to the game as a whole

When champs have that low of a playrate, it's not unusual for them to have that high of a winrate.

Galio doesn't have a 57% winrate because he's strong, he has a 57% winrate because he's only played by a handful of dedicated mains.

a high winrate means nothing when you have an exceptionally low playrate. Kayle has been sitting at a similar winrate for months and no one plays her still. It's just their mains basically that play them frequently.
