Now that you fixed his shield bug can we get some love in terms of buffs?

Noone really complained about him while he was strong unlike all those cancer champs.

Before his shield bug he was also sub 50%.

Mordes "gamebreaking bug" gave him like 6% winrate...

But he was garbage before the shield bug, and now they just fixed it.

His winrate pre-bug was about 49%. I've been asking for buffs for morde for months. Took a break from asking because shield bug made it feel inappropriate while he had that bug. Now I'm back to asking.

He needs either more durability or mobility. He is treated like an adc in terms of movement/durability but is melee...

20 more damage on an auto isn't going to do anything for morde.

i mean his build is focused on some hp, ap, and sticking power ie item 3116 item 3146 item 3151 item 3152 item 3030 item 3742 , gunblade and his w plus his natural bulk and passive keeps him VERY healthy in fights unless hes getting kited which is his counterplay

So we should balance damage dealers around the idea that they are going to build damage.

AD laners now get 10 base ad and .25 base attack speed.

"Their builds are focused around building some ad and attack speed"

Also, burst is his counterplay. You can't kite a full ap morde because he just presses R ignite and kills you anyways.

It comes down to this: Without defense I can't stick. Without offence I can't kill.

Defense is currently not functional because you still just die.

morde has perfectly fine sticking power with a few items i dont know what your on about, the way bot lane morde works is you have an aggressive support with engage and lock down to let you unload your extremely dmg heavy kit and let you snowball from there, his support is ment to compliment his w slow with scepter while sticking to the enemy and locking them down for him its really simple, this allows him to build a lot of offence with some defense in it for some durability like zhonyas

I'd argue that you are right if damage wasn't so high in the game. There is no such thing as sticking, kiting or anything like that when someone can just nuke you.

Unless there is a way to counter nuke champions noone is going to play anything else. Which is why damage is so high right now.

Cyclic issue and morde is in the middle of it between tank-> fighter of which neither classes currently exist outside of 2-3 champs.

if he was so bad and got nuked rn he wouldnt have such a high winrate, there is a counter to nuke champs its called a support with a lot of peel or cc (thresh, blitz, ali, leona, naut, pyke, etc) which is what usually gets taken with him and the fact that theres no drawback to picking up a zhonyas on morde which is the most simple way to dodge burst dmg

He had a couple different shield bugs - one where he couldn't get a shield at all from any source, and another where he would get a gigantic shield for far more than the max shield his passive allows.

Riot doesn't put mordes bug fixes into patch notes. If they did they would have to acknowledge that morde exists.

Riot hates morde and just acts like he doesn't exist.

Can confirm Morde gets nuked by the stupidest of things... Imagine having full HP and shield, while rocking item 3020 item 3146 item 3165 item 3065 , and you get 100-0’d in under a second by THIS: Katarina item 1001 item 3092
