His only mobility is his W which is situational. He needs to be running toward an allied target for it to work and even then he is still slow. The fact that you put him up there with vayne and fizz makes me think you have never played morde.There is a reason why he speed is handicapped though. Reason is, about 30 minutes into the game Morde can one shot almost anyone provided he's farmed enough. He's one of the highest damage champs in the game but all of his damage is melee range so he's balanced around the fact that you can kite him.
