Why the HELL are adcs building ap?! Look at varus and kaisa guys only ad item is rageblade and that item still gives ap!!
It's literally called ADC aka attack damage carry get that ATTACK DAMAGE not ABILITY POWER
Riot, I beg of you please find a way to stop adcs from building ap without gutting mages and ap assasins thanks

While Kai'sa and Varus could still make an argument for that being true, remember, their class is not "ADC" that is their role in the game. They are marksmen: Ranged damage dealers, who rely primarily on auto attacks.
Corki is a marksmen that deals primarily magic damage, he is another kind of exception. chill out dude, have some pizza or something :)

Optimizing his damage still requires his auto attacks.

Chermorg1 votesIt's actually called Bot. The role is called bot. An ADC is a subset of carry champs that are the most common class of botlaner, but there is no reason one champion must be locked to one role, playstyle, or damage type.
For a prime example, look at tons of toplaners who build health, AP, AD, AS.. basically anything they want.
