A Truly Skillful Update (light Ezreal passive/Q update suggestions)

TLDR; Q cooldown scales with attack speed, passive gives damage amp on spells instead of attack speed

So I've had some light Ezreal changes in mind just to make him a little more fun to play, specifically make adc Ez more fun without changing ap or blue builds much. I play ap Ezreal from time to time but I always felt he wasn't too exciting as an adc. With the upcoming marksman changes riot admitted that they didn't come up with anything solid for Ezreal so I figured this would be a perfect time to bring this up. So here are the suggestions I have in mind:

PASSIVE -no longer grants attack speed -hitting champions with skills now gives Ezreal X% increased damage on his spells for every stack

Q -cooldown scales with attack speed (still scales with cdr) -can now critically strike (kinda unsure on this change)

Nothing too crazy with these changes but I imagine they would make Ez more interesting to play as. The Q change is there primarily because I find auto attacking on Ezreal feels somewhat awkward. There are so many adcs in the game that rely on auto attacks as their main dps and I think Ezreal is the perfect champion to change it up with. This change would make him less of an auto attacker and more of a spellslinger. This wouldn't really effect ap or blue ez much, though I imagine riot would need to reduce the base damage and increase the scalings on Q to make sure attack speed didn't overshadow the other builds.

The passive change again is to push Ez away from auto attacking and towards spellslinging playstyle. With attack speed scaling on Q Ezreal will theoretically be firing it much more often. This change should mitigate poke damage from random Qs, but really reward Ezreal for consistently landing his skills. Ezreal's identity has always been in his several skillshots, and this drives that point home.

I find Ezreal's E and R to be in good spots right now (although I find R to be weak on ad ez, but this thread isn't about balance). I think we all know his W could use some work, but I couldn't think of anything that would benefit all of his build styles. (best idea I had was w marks targets letting ez do increased damge to them, but that doesn't seem like a very good solution to me).

Thanks for reading my ideas, I'm sure these changes would need to come with some number tweaks for Ez but I'll leave that to riot. I'd love to know what you guys think of these changes, so please feel free to comment and let me know what your opinions on these changes are!

I upvoted you because you provided me with a tl;dr and I love you for that. So you're saying the more you Q the more you can Q? :P Would there be a max cdr percentage, or would it reach a point in a long fight where you can just machine gun Q's?
