So i installed League in April this year and i reached 30 in May. System put me in bronze 2 (where i obv didn't belong) and i reached gold 4 and those players are fucking trash. I've been in gold for 3 days and i already got cancer and i play league for only 3 months. if i don't reach plat this season i'm uninstalling the game forever because it's not worth playing it, players are so bad and i'm new so i can't carry 1v9
you are a gold player but according to leagueofgraphs you have the mmr of a silver 1 player I don't think you are going to climb any time soon but good luck!

If you're better than the majority of players around you, you'll climb regardless.
I was Master Tier my second season of playing League and have consistently hovered around the rank at the end of every season since 4, so let me congratulate you on getting Gold in your first season, but frustration with your teams can be easily combated by simply practicing and getting better.

you don't have to go further than gold diude
just for posterity gold is serviceable elo dude, it means you can begin hanging with the really good kids if you're so inclined. maybe get yourself up to plat too then you can start calling yourself good while no one else thinks you're actually good, it's like the most middle child of rankings cause clearly you wanted to climb, it wasn't just the victorious skin that was of interest but victory itself. but there was no victory. at least gold you can just say you're in it for the skins and a serviceable level of gameplay...which neither actually exists as we speak.

if you play enough you can hit gold no matter your skill, i went from bronze 2 to gold last season just cause i wanted to, did i get better sure, but even then the games you play from bronze to plat are all the same skill level pretty much, i just get gold and dip free skin my guy, ranked is so bad for the brain
Also 70% of league players are in iron-silver, so gold isnt complete garbage, its the top layer ;)
