Why did I get flamed by adc for building ap items playing sona support?

Am in the wrong....or?

EDIT: I always build sightstone, but this adc didn't even know sona abilities get extra ap from those items, which includes healing.

It's weird but some ADC's are chauvinistic asswipes that hate seeing the support build damage because they feel it overshadows them or it bothers them to see you be anything sort of independent.

I know it sounds crazy but its true.

It was a lot more common back in S3 and 4 tho. You even have supports that still have a sort of Stockholm syndrome with this where they are conditioned to be ADCs bitch and be submissive. o__O

Cuz your adc thought he/she owns you and you are 2nd tier player (your adc is the best obviously). These trash adcs always tells you how you have to play, what to do and even what support you have to play to please your master carry.

I have a friend that does the exact same thing, lich bane with ludens every fucking game

Now that we told her, she needs a redemption sometimes, maybe a mikaela, ap isn't bad, it's a question of "do I need utility" or "does the TEAM (not you) need more damage"

Are they AP support items or AP damage items? Void Staff isn't an item you should be buying to increase your heal.

but you only have 300 stacks of Adoration i wouldn't want you to get so little gold from shutting down that Kha'zix that's on a 5 player killing spree :^)
