Shen's energy costs are absurdly high for his very limited pool, I use him as a support, and his E could really stand to lose some cost to it, maybe 25 energy reduction or something.

While I'm not going to deny that Shen needs buffs, I think that Shen support is just crappy overall.

I'm not trolling whatsoever, and remember, he was used as a support in season 3, and his kit hasn't changed.

ReallY? why top lane? what does he provide better as a top laner for his team that he can as support?

As a support he can peel and protect his ADC from lvl 1-18, and heal him from lvl 1-18, and shield him form lvl 6-18, Where as top he can only do all of those things post 6 unless he is running TP, but rarely does a top laner TP bot pre 6.

As support you peel for and heal/shield your adc the Entire game, as a top laner you fall into the tank role, and thus you are used for split pushing, or engaging. But shens engage is pretty shitty compared to alot of other top laners. Thus he usually falls into peeling for his Carries any way, so why not just start where u are going to end and protect your carries.

Also as an energy champ he never needs mana, thus he will never have to buy mana pots giving him a slight gold advantage compered to alot of his counter parts. Allowing him to always heal his ADC, always peel, and always shield, no matter the circumstance.

His energy costs are fine, it forces u to land E in order to do a full combo. This is how all energy champs should work, making it a risk to cast your combo rather than akili/zed/ken/lee mindless spamming

FYI it gives u 40 Energy back per champ hit, so if u land it on 3 or more u gain energy. So aslong as u are landing E your energy costs are fine, but if u miss it its gunna cost u.

ALSO if you have your passive up u can E>Q>AA>W even if E misses since your enhanced AA from passive restores 10 energy. Thus allowing you to do your full combo even if u miss E, aslong as your passive is up.

And Shen support is actually really good in the right hands
