Why remove versatility in Evelynn?

Before that rework AD evelynn was really good, and I liked playing her like that sometimes. I was hyped for her reworked E, but it's 100% just AP atm. They removed all the AD, even from her Q :/

Rn I can manage playing evelynn AD but I rely mostly on the W charm, then empowered E and Q is terrifically useless afterwards.

I feel like new eve is going to be ass, no stealth pre 6, shitty late game team fighting, w charm charge time does not decrease from 2.5 as she levels even late game (Meanwhile it takes an adc late game half that to kill you as a ap assassin), mana hungry, only ability that has a defensive application is her ult, No ms boost to help her close in on her would be charmed target.

Idk why riot thinks its ok to release a champion with EXTREMELY conditional cc almost no utility where she is too weak to snowball and a non existent late game.

And before someone tells me to try her before i complain i have already been playing her for the past 3 weeks on pbe

So do I, I think evelynn is going to be garbage tbh

If you will, you can technically still Play onhit evelynn with triforce and all that stuff. for those 3 seconds that you can use your Hate Spikes on the target you hit your Q on it also empowers all basic attacks hit during that time + her E procs onhit effects :3

her off-meta builds are not dead per sé, they just shifted in their core builds. ad evelynn is dead, yes, but well...you have my option

Yeah I tried with AD and duskblade, it's not that bad after all

Because hybrid stats on assassins makes them hard to balance.

So why don't you try a viable build first and get used to the playstyle before you complain?

"viable".. in quotation marks lul

Because I don't play champs how they're supposed to be played

what's the fun in winning if you do it like everyone else?
