Talking to Innox after NME v. GV game:

Innox (NME Mid): "Earlier today, we lost two games on soloqueue to Bodydrop (NME support)... He beat me with Ekko." Jatt: "Well, Ekko, who can blame you."

This is after Zirene said that Ekko was "incredibly strong" and "not balanced".

Your own employees have turned on him, Rito.

44% win rate too strong.

It's funny, because have you seen his high elo statistics? They are shit. Granted he is a release champ, but once youve faced him a couple times, your excuses for getting hit by his insanely telegraphed shit runs out, unless he out thinks you and plans well.

I won't say anything about Ekko being OP or not (too early to judge imo but I'm sure he well get some number tweaking the same way Yasuo was firstly approached).

But really guys... Is it easier to admit you screw up against a newly released champion (whose insideouts are not yet exposed) or blame the fact that the new champion is simply OP?

Professionals are biased too when it comes to their own/their team performance.

Just saw a ekko with the standard assassin build build guardian angel. So we could catch him out, try to focus him down and then he would use his ult, (great, hes back in the fight and we have used cooldowns), catch him out again and guardian angel buys enough time for his team to overwhelm us. it was a nightmare. Also that passive slow it monstrous, the animation on bard makes me sad, ekko just broke his legs as he goes noway for 3 seconds.

Also I just want to mention how many champions have skills that are very narrow in use. this is why I think ekko is over the top. He has abilites that have 2/3 different uses. Kennen has a linear skill-shot that deals medium damage to one person (thats all the skill does), actually all of kennen's abilities are bland with no additional uses because of his passive. however it didn't seem to stop you from giving ekko an amazing passive and a stun longer then kennen could ever imagine.

Good thing you balanced ekko by being melee, but wait you gave him two dashes (a anytime dodge anything, and a blink that dodges point blank karma Q's.

As a support I'm having a hard time protecting people from him. ~Karma has her group shield to protect from his ult, but can't snare him or stop him from getting a way. ~Morgana can stop his engage, but you need to focus with at least 3 people before he ults. ~Nautilus has some great lockdown, but he can get a way because of his passive speed.

You really just gave him an ult that lets him do whatever he wants, placed him in a totally different league form the rest of champions.

the fuck? so they overshot ekko, and you are just assuming it wasnt an accident? and then afterwards riot employees realized that and are now voicing their errors? but you think that at riot when a champion is released it is meant to be overpowered? and because of that anyone that works at riot isnt allowed to admit that the champion is overpowered? and that if they do they are "turning on him"?

the fuck kind of closed minded, tin-foil hat bullshit is that and why did the circle jerk of the boards upvote you

not everything is some big scheme to squeeze money out of the playerbase
