it;s a little ridiculous that this skill takes priority over most anything in the game.

it's not enough that she has super mobi boots and a gap closer / stun (ok sorry Q technically isn't a stun; it's better than a stun) on demand. She has burst which is often uncounterable bc he Q disallows you from doing anything except running and maybe flashing.

now, I was playing Leblanc, and ok, i can't W towards her. Nope that's just out of the question and ok I'm fine with that. But what really gets me is i can't even W AWAY from her. I'd be fine if it slows me, but it not only cancels my W but also slows me. Not that i could escape from the R anyway i guess.

Her e is an interrupt, basically a mini-stun. Anything that is interruptable will be stopped by it when timed correctly.

Now as for how the 'blind' is better than a stun, no. It isn't. Stuns are better.

The biggest counter to her e is, in my opinion, dashing to move her somewhere she doesn't want to be.

There's been a few times that I've tried to E the enemy ADC under tower to pull together the damage to kill them and they flash it as I do so so I stay under tower after vaulting off instead of vaulting out of tower range (and subsequently die).

Further, Thresh and Blitz are huge counters to her e. Any skillshot should be really. You know where she's going to land after using e long before she lands there. Plenty of time to hit her with anything. If a Thresh or Blitz (and to a lesser extent, Ahri, Leblanc, Morgana, Lux, Elise, etc... anyone with a CC skillshot) is nearby when she vaults and she doesn't have minion coverage to block the ability, she's going to get hit with the CC (and likely the entire combo).

Her blind is no where near as strong as a stun. You're outright wrong there. Her stun is annoying and disorienting so it feels worse, but you're actively still able to move and do something which is better than being stunned and waiting to die. It's also fairly reasonable to dodge and is caught by minions.
