Regarding the Anivia nerf

Say I hit the stun on my Q and apply Iced. Then I press R then E. Will the target be chilled or iced? In other words, does the iced effect still stay even though I pressed R after? If the iced effect gets erased by pressing R, then please consider making it stack. Because if you don't, itll punish players for using their ultimate...

Chilled won't override Iced, so both will be on the target. E will then use whichever is the stronger effect present.

Thank you.

Out of curiosity, what's the point of separating chilled and iced on her Q? I understand her ultimate, but in what situation will Anivia hit an enemy to slow them with her Q but not detonate it for the extra damage and the stun?

If she gets cc she cant detonate. Also, dashes and blinks can dodge the detonation since most anivias wait for the slow to hit then stun for double damage so they have a short period to dodge.

It's on PBE because Anivia is OP. No sarcasm, she's good at basically everything from burst, to waveclear, to teamfight control and is safe on top of it.

You missed the point mate. Whats the point of using my ult if its going to reduce my damage output? Exactly. Please read. This isnt talking abouy her strength. Its talking about clarity and QOL changes.

What?..

Her R worked normally a week ago, there are no changes mentioned in the patchnotes, and the wiki shows her R as applying chill..

Somehow i doubt this would be changed, since it would gut her kit.
