Would you guys consider doing this? It's not enough to be like "handing out goodies" because it would take 3 years to save up for something big. However, for someone that is just a few points short of a second purchase it would be huge, and be great for morale.

Lol or maybe 5 RP per week as long as you played at least 3-5 games. Per Login is a bad idea, people will log in and out all day.
I think if this was to be implemented, they'd have to tie it into the first win of the day bonus.
Doesn't make sense to give inactive players free rp, basing it on logins could be abused, and doing it once per day on your first login also seems strange, since you could just log in, then log out after you got your 1rp.
Tying it to first win of the day not only makes the fwotd more rewarding, but encourages people to play the game, which is always good.
Or just send in a ticket and they'll give you the points you need.
This would just make bots.
Shelf accounts would become a problem. Set up 10,000 fake accounts. Wait a year and a half. Then spam yourself with mystery gifts.
I'd agree, there should be something as to the effect of a "win of the day" bonus, where you are given around 10 riot points per day.
People would make alt accounts, friend their main, gift them stuff.
Avoid that and I like the idea.
If you think the RP system accidentally leaves you with a few spare points or just shy of another item, you're quite mistaken. It's all specifically designed to manipulate the users.
I have exactly 0 RP right now and it's so perfect I don't want to give it up.

Hahaha ... hahahah ... Ha... Oh boy, you guys are crazy. Riot does not give RP away without massively screwing up. I've been around since beta and I went through the times where the game would be offline for weeks on end, randomly shut off mid game... The servers were a disaster. I'll tell you right now, after playing since beta and having the most horrendous time dealing with the mistakes.. I've only seen xp/ip boosts. Also, if they GAVE you RP it would mess up their sale trap where you will ALWAYS have extra RP that isn't enough to buy anything. Then you buy more and you end up with like 140 and have to buy more if you plan to use that.
This is the most original concept i've ever read, i really hope riot takes this under consideration, then again.... Rito = pretty greedy :/

If you play 100 games per week you get 5 RP?
But you can't be on some sort of punishment to get this. You have to be considered a positive player I guess is what I'm trying to say. You can't AFK in any of them either, those games don't count. How does that sound? :3
