Hey Riot, is there any particular reason for the blackout on Kog'Maw information?

The little guy more or less got gutter-stomped and the only dialog we've gotten was the statement that his power level was drastically under-shot. That was back in the pre-season follow-up Q&A.

Would anyone from Live Balance mind sharing their vision on Koggy and what direction Riot intends to take him in? Particularly why you think making him a center-piece ADC is wise when Miss Fortune is able to get much higher returns when building a team around her (following up after one lockdown Ult is MUCH easier to co-ordinate than a team constantly protecting Kog'Maw). And further, why Koggy is suffering so much when all the game's other hyper-carry ADCs are doing fine or excelling.

To be fair, the recent W change was a buff to AP Koggy.

Nerf to Kog's AD/Ult focused builds, which is a shame.

not really, lol all they did was give it a 2% base, which is what it had before they changed him at lvl 1, increasing per lvl. they nerfed ALL his ratios on AP. they hit AP kog hard.

His AP ratio on W went up (sort of) since he's landing the OnHit twice as often as he used to.

Won't argue with you on the Ult AP ratio, though. That was just silly.

If you are AAing as AP kog, you are not AP kogging. W is nearly useless as AP kog, AP kog is a long range nuker, not an On-hit.

AP Kog had the option of going AP Marksmen or Ult-Spam.

Riot has very intentionally kicked Ult-Spam in the balls, mostly because it's hell to play against when it's good and it makes balancing the rest of Kog's kit a nightmare. I loved Ult-Spam Koggy, but I understand why Riot axed it.
