Just blind picked sion into yasuo top

I love afking in lane!

What a treat not being able to walk up and farm, or trade damage, or build armor (thanks conqueror).

It isn't even that your new champions are that badly designed, they just have too much free power and raw damage to go with their hyper mobile kits. There is no real outplay to someone that. Moves faster, does more damage, and is decently durable. Its time to start looking at how much power mobility really is in a kit.

Even in his weakest matchup he still is above 50% WR according to lolskill. Haven't checked the other sides yet.

That's incredibly disingenuous, matchup winrate does not always represent who wins lane.

May I ask why you didn't rush Randuins after Tabi and start with DShield?

I feel like Yasuo is one of the easier matchups when playing Sion. DShield start -> Tabi -> Randuins, then optional is what I would go for. The AS reduction is fine and all, but I'd rather reduce his crit damage before taking away his AS.

There is this thing called cooldown reduction... because sion is basically an ulti bot...

Lets be real here though, lethality probably would have been a better choice.

You do realize that Sions E on a minion penetrates Windwall, his Q has insane base damage and that is the key to screwing over a Yasuo right?

I mean sure, you can build CDR to become an ult bot, you can build lethality so you can hope to kill him or you go Randuins first and mop the floor with him.

The game is oozing with TRUE DAMAGE and MOBILITY and CERTAINLYT'S GROSSLY OVER TUNED CHAMPIONS. They were pretty much asking to remove tanks from the game

Hm, what could possibly go wrong.

Yasuo cooldown: Q - 3.7-1.3 rank 1-5 E 0.5-0.1 sec rank 1-5 ult 79?/27 sec rank 3 - Manaless, wind wall, shield, double crit, 50% bonus armor pen for 15 seconds

The problem is that Sion needs time to level. Yasuo cannot be punished if he makes a mistake with Q/E because they are right back up when he casts them. Sion makes a mistake he's out a chunk of mana and a decent cooldown. You farm with Sion, Yasuo will charge in and smack you around to almost no health. If you get a gank, he'll roam mid or bot and come back stronger.

Bottom line: I've seen this idiotic champion go 0-5 in lane and end up 25-7 or higher by the end of the game - lack of cooldown, ridiculous mobility and damage, and Conqueror even existing makes this a joke. How do you outplay someone who can reset his abilities as if its constantly URF mode?

Play safe, he gets stronger. Play dumb, he gets stronger quicker.

This is one reason I was on Team Riven last year! Riven

this is onc match up. yasuo has that advantage against all top laners. but you wanna know something funny?

yasuo top is actually the weakest it has been.

Renekton one sided auto win Kennen one sided auto win Jayce basically an auto win Pantheon can be an auto win if the jungler isnt afk farming

Darth Rodan1 votes

Kennen gets shit on by Yasuo. Ken has no shield, no sustain, way less damage, and his only real damage gets easily wind walled.

Have you played kennen before

Darth Rodan1 votes

I used to main Kennen. Not anymore. He's too weak.

please goto the yasuo sub reddit and say that. i wanna see this

Automated Riven2 votes

you forgot riven/darius/any meta toplaner aside from gnar.

Takazaki1 votes

Daruis imo can be a toss up if Yasuo plays the lane right, dodging the Q can really fuck him over. but post 6 assuming daruis didnt feeds yasuo's lane ends right there 100% or after ninja tabi's

Riven has a high chance of fucking up the lane for herself if she plays it wrong (which applies to EVERY champion but riven has a higher skill floor so its worth to mention )

Automated Riven2 votes

Well. I was assuming a competent riven. She does super well assuming she doesn't fight before level 3. He wins levels 1 and 2. And she matches him in damage with dorans shield start and ninja tabis rush. And then the game is over at that point. He can't go defense because will lack the damage to kill her.

Takazaki2 votes

thats pretty fair.

i cant think of a single yasuo player with more then 10 games who thinks yasuo would stand a chance against riven if she played and itemized at least functionally

Automated Riven2 votes

One who hasn't played against her?

was little bit more of an exaggeration there lmao
