Immobile Champions are Bad

many (mostly older) champions just feel outmatched and outdated against a lot of the newer champions. Idk this isn't really a complaint, but at a certain point, when players in a match are pretty evenly matched, immobile champs like Chogath Kayle Lissandra Olaf Taric Orianna Syndra Volibear Yorick are outkitted (but not necessarily out skilled) by champs like Yasuo Ekko Leblanc Janna LeeSin Riven Zed and basically feel like a handicap. don't really care either way...now I've realized picking champs like Amumu Sion are basically a straight up disadvantage.

just an observation i guess... but really if you want to win games, don't pick immobile champs, its a massive disadvantage. Trying landing Chogath 's Q against Yasuo or Leblanc yeah...dont bother

another funny observation is that the premiere viable immobile champ is TahmKench ...and we all know how that is. the character has to be over the top unique and offer some unseen absurd mechanic in order to be viable and immobile at the same time

Umm I'll start from the top Cho gath seen season 5 professional play Kayle was op until devourer nerf Lissandra has like the longest blink/dash in the gameb doesn't she? Olaf seen a lot of professional play season 5 Taric if boring but has huge win rate I do believe Orianna had never missed a worlds if I recall Syndra hasn't seen much play lately but use to be picked a ton before some minor nerfs Volibear hasn't seen pro play for a while but i don't think it's his mobility I think it's his kit that sends mixed messages with a lack of good cc Yorick same as volibear. Just lacking power on his kit. Even if he had a free flash added to his kit he would be in a bad spot. Yasuo has no mobility out side of minion waves. I'm pretty sure ekko is bad right now, could be wrong Leblanc yes she's mobile and in a good spot. Janna has some ms? Pretty sure it's her cc and disengage that is strong not her ms. Lee Sin mobile and in a good spot. Riven is whatever no comment. Zed is bad without brutaliser at least that's my understanding. Amumu saw pro play season 5 Sion with some number changes not related to mobility would be must pick or ban again.

Landing cho q on yasuo isn't hard outside of minion waves. Sure Leblanc with w off cd is hard to hit unless you umm silence her with your w...

ill start from the top

EDIT: ok ill bite!

Cho gath seen season 5 professional play ( yes and he immediately fell out of favor because his immobility and slow Q made him useless as fuck. Did you see Bjergsen play Cho? He looked like a bronze player). Kayle was op until devourer nerf (([in solo Q]) Lissandra has like the longest blink/dash in the gameb doesn't she? (nope, that would be Ekko) Olaf seen a lot of professional play season 5 (yes, and he needs a professional team to get him ahead. or a dumbass lane counterpart to feed off of. otherwise you just kite his ult and then he is useless unless massively ahead) Taric if boring but has huge win rate I do believe (taric has had a resurgence against dumbasses who put together a comp of 3 adcs) Orianna had never missed a worlds if I recall (orianna is solid, but takes some skillz) Syndra hasn't seen much play lately but use to be picked a ton before some minor nerfs (true. however, like i said, she is no longer picked because mobile champions make her kit way too unreliable) Volibear hasn't seen pro play for a while but i don't think it's his mobility I think it's his kit that sends mixed messages with a lack of good cc (volibear is trash. easily kited to infinity). Yorick same as volibear. Just lacking power on his kit. Even if he had a free flash added to his kit he would be in a bad spot. (yorick doesn't exist) Yasuo has no mobility out side of minion waves. ( but lane is where he excels)

ugh I'm too tired to continue with this unproductive game. your silver mind cannot fathom anything outside of your bias

So that makes what professionals play irrelevant?

pro play and solo Q is a completely different game

but i wouldn't expect your silver mind to understand this

i'll start from the top, he was basing alot of that off pro play, which pro play makes you look like a casual who's opinion is worthless. js

magic pole1 votes

and pro play means highly coordinated teams where every move on the map is made as a move as 5 players together.

mobile champions punish uncoordinated players, i.e. solo queue

You're only gold, calm down. I also had no idea picking Amu was a "disadvantage" considering I've won 19 times with 0 losses between 2 accounts in high plat. Although sure, lets pretend pressing R and winning is "bad" due to lack of free mobility. Immobile champions have always outperformed mobile champions in soloq for ages. The best ADC for entirety of S5 in high elo were the immobile ones while the mobile adcs sat at the bottom, the best mids were immobile mages, the best tops outside of like Riven weren't very mobile and the best Junglers were also immobile.

lol plat 3 25 LP is mid plat. learn 2 maths

Doesn't Cho destroy Yasuo?

magic pole1 votes

yup. and then he waddles to mid lane and fails to hit a skillshot while yasuo's entire kit is basically point and click.

tornado does not count as 9/10 times it is cast point blank
