The reason dynamic queue still exists

This will be hard for you guys to hear, and I know you will downvote me because you don't want to hear this, but I need to say it.

Riot makes more money with Dynamic Queue. People are much more likely to give RP to a friend with dynamic queue, invite thier friends to play, and generally increase the popularity of LoL when friends are involved. It's that simple.

"But ranked integrity!!" you might say... Anything below Diamond has always been a joke to Riot. They will never balance the game around anything below Diamond, and they will never, ever take it seriously. Riot could not care less about your rank or if you feel "cheated" in ranked. They know you will keep playing the game. The only person who cares about your rank is yourself.

Riot is essentially just your drug dealer. If the "quality isn't up to standards", they don't care. They know you will buy (play LoL) anyway. They want to make money.

Tl;dr: Ranked integrity is a joke to Riot, they just want money. (It's almost like they are an actual business!)

PS: I do not endorse Dynamic Queue

Most of my friends quit playing league at the beginning of season 6. I kept playing hoping they would rollback DQ to SQ. They never did. So then I kept playing hoping they would bring back SQ season 7. Well, they have no plans to do that either. So I'm done. I haven't played for 2 weeks and have no plans to return unless they bring back SQ.

It proves more of the point that dynamic queue is not an issue until higher elos. If you care that much just hit diamond

Only 2% of players are diamond+. Most of them are pros and streamers. I don't have the time nor the inclination to spend that much time playing this game just to get a fair match.

Also, "just hit diamond" is not a solution. The tiers are set up so that only 2% of the players can be diamond.

Not going to argue about it, not worth it tbh.

Removed what I was going to say btw ^

guess what? I know a bunch of people who were boosted to diamond. because riot decided to not put premade restrictions until halfway through the season. These boosted players are legimately playing worse than the players at their elo and since diamond represents a smaller pool of players, their performances affect the statistics of anything regarding diamond players. These values are less reliable this season because u have players that dont belong in the elo and are playing way below the standards of that elo.

Do we actually know that for a fact? I feel that considering how many changes riot has had to make, it is clear that riot is losing money with dynamic queue in its original form (otherwise riot would have just left it the same way it was on release).

Not particularly likely. Just because they want to improve it doesn't mean it's not working. It might not be making as much money as the previous Solo/Duo Queue did, but of course, we don't know. What we do know for a fact is that Riot will continue working to improve it as long as it's cost effective to do so.

The problem is that riot is making a change people do not like

Riot has tens of millions of daily active users. Every change Riot makes will have some people that do not like it. Think about it this way. Before Dynamic Queue, how many times did you see people come on the boards and say "RIOT! I love Solo/Duo Queue! It's amazing! I absolutely hope you never change it, because it's amazing and perfect!" (I saw zero that were even close in sentiment, sarcastic hyperbole aside.) Does that mean that nobody liked it? No. Tons of people were happy with it, and they just silently played it.

all signs pointing to it being detrimental

I'm not sure what signs you're seeing that make you think this way. I mean, sure, there are people that say "I hate DQ I'm quitting". But there are also people that say "LoL doesn't allow hate speech, I'm quitting" or "LoL doesn't allow teammate harassment, I'm quitting". Does that mean that trying to reduce player toxicity has lost Riot money? I strongly suspect not (although, just like you, I have no actual insight there).

Outside of that, I haven't seen any signs either way. Anecdotal evidence is particularly weak here; I enjoy playing with friends, and some of my friends prefer playing ranked. So that means that my friends consider DQ > S/DQ. But using that as a sign is just as weak as people that hate DQ saying their friends hate it.

You are right on every single point but that won't make me play rankeds ever again unless riot give us back Solo/Duop Q.

I was placed in Silver 1 after my first promos, got do Platinum 3 in 2 weeks and as a guy who plays this game from 2012 and who knows the thing or two about this game I really do not want to waste my time in Dynamic Que just because I can't teleport myself to Diamond and be able to SoloQ again lol...

As you can see, I am unranked now and I enjoy playing normals with my friends.

People will spend money whether it be dedication or appeal. People will buy stuff for their friends if they truly appreciate them. Unless you find me any statistics representing any increase in pattern regarding the implementation of dynamic queue, this argument is worthless.

Don't you think Riot would be making much more money if people were satisfied with the game? Why spend money on a game you don't enjoy? Either way it doesn't matter, people will keep complaining. Honestly, the only problem I have with dynamic queue are the permatilted solo players who take it upon themselves to ruin my ranking experience. Now that I'm in diamond, I get to slog through all the shitty solo players. At least when there are premades in a game you don't have to worry about anyone afk-ing.

they actualy make less money from dynamicQ wanna know why ? because plebs who really love to play with a friend or even more ! don't really take the game so seriously since they don't give a sh*t about the competitive integrity. so yeah they actualy lost veterans players alot of them if i take a look at my 213 friend list .. nearly empty everyday since the dynamicQ. Well i guess thats why they finaly bring back that soloQ to atleast diamond + players, you know what riot next move will be giving soloQ to everyone because the active players count is still going down, how can i tell ? its easy, they didn't brag about it for way TOO MUCH time now, which riot was known for (braging about thier active players count) back in every single year from 2009

If it mattered to them, they would work on a way to refund the LP you lost to a troll/AFK... but I don't think I heard anything regarding unfair games about Riot in a long time.

I think Riot will never change it back to SQ because then they'd admit that DQ hurted the ranked integrity, damaging achievements of players forever. For example, if it's S7, you got a Platinum border and played a normal poorly. You'd likely get called a boosted animal.

No rofl, all the nerfs are for like Gold players. Shit like Master Yi is op to them, they want to nerf champions like Zed and it's not even that good in high elo. Riot literally looks at the majority of the players, so a lot of the nerfs high elo players disagree with but what would a Gold player know? Amumu

There's a reason why Zed and Fizz have insanely ban rates at lower tiers. Team coordination is much worse, making it harder to deal with them. I personally ban Fizz to make sure he is never in the game if he makes it to where I am in the ban phase. They have insane snowball potential and in the hands of a good player they can single handed destroy the entire enemy team. It's far easier to just remove it as a factor entirely than to deal with it.
