Galio resolute smite feels like it should give vision

Galios q is essentially a giant blast of light fired from his eyes. It always just struck me as odd that it doesnt give vision. Not only because of the thematic relation as an "eye blast", but because many similar feeling abilities in the game do grant vision (Jayce's shock blast, twitch venom cask, cho rupture, etc). I am continousely suprised when i fire it into a bush for some poke and dont see if i hit anything.

It would make sense for it to reveal the area of the blast, although it would not be for very long, mostly just long enough to see if somebody is hiding in the bush, and possibly move to follow up on the slow. Or even just know if you hit somebody.

is there any reason im unaware of for it not to grant vision? his personal ability to follow up on the vision is kindof limited, but it would provide some scouting utility and thematic cohesion.

Hrm, not a bad idea I suppose, especially considering how vision has deteriorated in this season (thank you ward limits.)

The question I'd ask of you though, is this: if Galio HITS an opponent with his Q, do we get vision of that champion for a short time like with Lee Sin's Q? If we did, would that be OP? Perhaps we could get away with like...a 2-second vision duration if it hits nothing but the vision duration is halved if it hits a champion? What happens if it hits minions? Do they get revealed or are they not important enough? There's a lot of options within "this ability gives vision" to consider.

I think a Rioter once said it'd make him too powerful, but I don't think something similar to Cho'gath's Rupture would make Galio OP or anything, especially considering how rarely he's used now.

Please Riot, add this for Galio!
