"using his mobility" - Every champion from here on out...
I think he could be a really good jungler, since his passive applies to monsters and his ganking potential with that dash + blink and W seems really good.
This is the second time they've told us they were making an assins that favors "Damage over time" and "Whittling people down" over burst.
The first time was
.
Do you think they'll actually do it this time?
Either way, this champion looks like he's going to be fun. Imagine your opponent's chasing you, and then you throw down the AoE Slow/Shield/Stun and then ult backwards into it :D
So many things that mechanic is going to allow me to do :u
He looks cool, am excited to try him out. I'm curious what his damage is like, though, since he seems to have a lot of his power budget put into utility (namely slows, but that AoE stun can't be cheap in terms of power budget; of course it's a fairly long delay, but still a massive ability. Then again, Viktor has somewhat of a similar AoE stun being on a delay, and he's still got a load of power elsewhere on his kit. We'll see as the PBE updates). He might be one of those champions that are overshot on release, and everyone complains for months about how Riot releases overpowered champions to drive sales while ignoring Bard completely, or he might get undershot just because he has a lot of utility and Riot is wary of adding too much damage to his kit.
I'll have to try him out a bit first, but he might be the first champion I buy on release (or at least after the first price drop to 6300 IP) since Braum. His skill floor doesn't seem unapproachable at first, he doesn't seem too mechanically intensive; his skill ceiling seems pretty high, though, his skills seem to have a lot of different uses, which is nice to have something to work towards.
If played as a Jungler, he would definitely be auto attack focused. If I had to guess max his W first to increase his damage passive damage to low health targets. though I'm not sure if his shield would be that useful against Jungle camps as it only appears to last as long as the stun does. Although if neither really scale with level, it could be maxed second or last even.
His Q is a max in lane. It's nature which is similar to Ahri's Orb of deception or Sivir's boomerang blade. And would likely make a good laning tool.
His E applies on hit effects, though I some how doubt that his Cooldowns will be short enough to make use of Tri force.
He looks like he's going to be a light fighter. Relying on his CC for defense rather than tank stats. He's not a kill assassin like Zed or leblanc (as riot clamed he's not) yet he's neither a reset Assassin like Kat or Akali. So I question whether he will be played as an Assassin.
