Quiz: How Do You Lose Lane?

RIP Resonance··4 votes·955 views

If you play this game at all, you've probably run into this situation:

I'm losing my lane, and I've already died twice to my opponent, what should I do?

A.) He was obviously just lucky, I'll outplay him this time with my superior mechanics. B.) Spam ping my jungler to gank my lane, it was obviously his fault that I've died in each attempt to fight my laner. C.) Go AFK and say "gg noob team" in all chat. D.) Farm my lane to gain what gold and XP I can. Then later, my team and I can deal with my laner.

If you chose D, then you are correct.

If you think D is an answer, then you are naive. You can't farm because your superior opponent zones you. All you can do is hug your tower, pick up what morsels you can find while eating damage for it, and hope for a gank. Likely your tower will fall before that happens, your laning opponent will proceed to be stronger than your teammates, and you will be flamed throughout all of this and get blamed for losing the game. Even if you don't die any more. More likely, the enemy jungler will come and tower dive you for more free kills.

The correct answer is... don't lose your lane.

D.) Farm my lane to gain what gold and XP I can. Then later, my team and I can deal with my laner.

See that little bit there?

D.) Farm my lane to gain what gold and XP I can.

Yeah, that means what he can, not enough to die or be zoned. Hope that you get ganked, which is "Then later, my team I can can deal with my laner." So... yeah... You basically just said what he said only much more pessimistically.

I'm Diamond and I choose C. This is the correct answer to anyone lower elo than I who is wondering what the answer is.

The correct answer is actually A. Sort of. If you are losing your lane, then stop trying to outplay your opponent to his face, and instead wait for him to screw up and bite off something he can't chew, usually because your jungler is in the shadows.

Its B cause most likly he will try and zone you to increase the lead which will put him at risk for jungle ganks

Are you low elo or something? D almost never works unless you're playing a ridiculously safe and broken champion like zed or lux ( in which case you shouldn't have died in the first place )

99% of the time you are unable to farm properly, the wave will slow push to your turret, then you will easily get 2 v 1 dived by their jungler and be even FARTHER behind.

A is actually the correct answer, continue csing the best you can, if you die your death bounty lowers every time. I've seen platinum baddies who would rather be 150 cs behind me sitting at their turret all game than try to farm and die a few times.
