Abuse his range level 1. Every time he tries to cs, hit him with Q + Auto. If he presses, E, walk away. He already lost that trade by losing mana.

Heavy harass and buying hp or magic resist first. I prefer HP. If he can't 100-0 you with ignite he is going to fall behind every time he fails. I think almost any mid mage can beat Fizz if you abuse the fact he is melee and his only option is an all in.

are u dumb? you throw w on yourself, his e and q both put him on you, then u get your crap q shield to soak abit of dmg and drop ur whole combo?

i just beat swain in lane as fizz, because i have mechanics and he didnt, mechanics is when you outplay somebody, use your brain, things like this, if you ever lane vs fizz and u dont poke him hard pre 6 you are bad and just need to accept this.
