What if Ruby Sightstone upgraded support items?

Ruby Sightstone gives upgrades to support items, some examples include but are not limited to:

Mikael's Crucible - When using the active, increases speed of the user and target by 40% that decays over 3 seconds. Ohmwrecker- Active can now be used to disable enemy base gates for five seconds. Locket of the Iron Solari- Shield now heals afflicted allies for 10% of missing health Twin Shadows- Adds an extra ghost Righteous Glory - Movement speed bonus now always procs (despite not moving towards enemy champions) Ardent Censor - Increases active duration to 10 seconds.

... thoughts? Most laners don't buy two of these items together, with the jungler or top laner sometimes getting Righteous Glory and Sightstone (really only in LCS)

other than that... thoughts?

P.S. These are all just ideas for upgrades that I kind of spat up in like three minutes.

This sounds amazing and an opportunity to put some more build diversity into the support role

Yo, that would be a good idea. I would make it a bit different though. Kind of like junglers and all their machete options, but with support.

I could see something like a starting item... maybe like "Sight Pebble" (but a better name of course).

Giving like 150 HP and 1-2 wards to place. Upgrades into Sightstone and then Ruby(?) Sightstone with a "Sightstone enchantments" that could have you choose between things like...

Ability to place more wards, and they last longer.
Wards give vision of enemy wards for the first 10 seconds they are placed.
Longer range to place wards.

Along with of course, other options in terms of stats. Like...

Taric Taric Taric

Ruby Sightstone (Extra HP)
Sapphire Sightstone (Extra Mana)
Amethyst Sightstone (Extra Cooldown)
Topaz Sightstone (Extra Gold)
Emerald Sightstone (Extra Movement Speed)

I would love to see this and I think it would be an amazing addition to the game. Maybe people would ward more too, lol. The key would be to somehow make this not terribly OP so people other than supports could abuse this, but it's entirely feasible.

This wouldn't solve the general problem a sightstone have. However it would fix the viability for having a ruby sightstone on a support or controle jungler.

Controle junglers generaly get something like item 3800 item 3190 in their games so it will be verry benefitial to upgrade your sightstone now.

I think in this stage of the game. It's the best direction you can go right now. It might not be a permament solution. But it solves a core problem sightstone users have right now.

So to give an example:

Total cost: 2200g
Recipe: + + 400g
Stats: +550 health
UNIQUE Passive – WARD REFRESH: Holds 5 charges and refills upon visiting the shop.
UNIQUE Active – GHOST WARD: Consumes a charge to place a Sight Ward that reveals the surrounding area for 3 minutes. A player may only have 3 Stealth Wards on the map at one time.
UNIQUE Passive – SUPPORT AURA: Buff support items:
: When using the active, increases speed of the user and target by 40% that decays over 3 seconds.
: Decreases the cooldown
: Active can now be used to disable enemy base gates for five seconds.
: Movement speed bonus now always procs (despite not moving towards enemy champions)
: Generate charges faster
: ~~Adds an extra ghost~~ That would kinda hurt the name of the item. I think longer travel time will be better.
: Shield now heals afflicted allies for 10% of missing health
: Increases active duration to 10 seconds.
: !*! example: Removes slow on activation
: !*! example: Splash damage now heals nearby allies
: !*! example: Slow increase with 10%
- Not sure gold income actives should be included but it could be a way for buffing it without getting the risk it will be abused by solo laners.
