Mobility & Burst is Too High

Slowly over the years mobility creep has started to ruin league. Years back you'd be killed for being in the wrong position or getting caught out. Now you get killed for simply being on the same screen as these new dashy bursty champions. It's not fun.

Every month Riot should rework the worst mobility/burst offenders and slowly fix this game. It will take a year or two to get it back into a fun state... but I think it needs to be done.

too much burst and mobility ey? like Zed who has among the highest burst among all assassin's while having a dash + targeted gap closer and 2 escapes?

Highest possible burst sure. Definitely not the fastest or even close to the safest but definitely one of the easiest to counter. He also has 0 dashes.

dash/blink whatever, W blink, ult blink.

with a full build against a target with 100 armor your entire combo deals between 5000-6000 damage, only counter to that is zhonya's or guardian angel, even if you only hit 1 Q it's enough to kill a squishy

The difference between a dash and a blink is huge in some matchups.

I don't get what the math was for I started by saying he had the highest possible burst. However I'm not going to pretend the stars align for most zeds I have personally ever seen a perfect combo once and it was a couple of years ago. You could also CC him in addition to items.

I've actually been testing his full build out in training mode and you don't need near enough of a perfect combo to kill someone, some examples(lvl18):

item 3147 item 3814 item 3142 item 3071 item 3036

R>E>AA:2068 - takes 1 second to perform the combo and after 3 seconds mark activates R>E>AA>AA:2816 R>2xQ hit>E>AA:3720 - takes 1 second to perform the combo and after 3 seconds mark activates W>R>3xQ hit>E>AA:4465 W>R>3xQ hit>E>AA>E:5043

all of this is without counting in ignite which is another extra 410 damage, which he clearly doesn't even need, the only reason zed doesn't regularly kill a squishy with R>E>AA is because of extra health they buy for mages or for lifesteal for ADC's, but add in 2 Q hits and you're set, even if you only hit 1 Q out of all the 3 shadows that's still 3014 damage

even without landing his full combo it's enough to kill a 100 armor target.

Well, given that a lot of champions have their BASE ARMOR being between 80 and 100 at level 18, yes i think it's totaly normal that a Zed incomplete combo can kill a 100 armor target.

Because basically someone with 100 armor migh be someone who didnt even take the armor runes and has absolutely 0 armor item. You'd want a full build assassin to be unable to burst someone who just didnt built even 1 armor ?

You dont necessarily have to rework them though, just nerf them. Why should Jax's W and R passive have that much magic damage (especially with how low W's cd is)?

Jax's W & R have been unchanged for a long time so unsure why you are pointing to that as the cause of his current problem.

Jax used to have a long 6s cooldown on his leap. If he leapt to you and you flashed/tumbled/knocked him back then you'd have a long window to punish him. But with all the CDR on runes/items and Spear of Shojin he can stick much better and there isn't as much time to punish.

It's his mobility that has crept up indirectly by CD reduction. 6s leap cooldown reduced to 3.6s at 40% CDR (easily obtainable with new runes/items). Further reduced to ~2.9s with Spear of Shojin assuming he can leap and get one swing off before you can dash/flash away (best case for you). However if he lands his stun after his leap and gets a few swings off then even if you dash away he can instantly leap onto you again. CDR and Spear of Shojin is what has changed. It's called mobility creep.
