So permasnare Ryze got kicked in the nuts. What about RY-lai-ZE?

Well since his permasnare got gutted a little, anyone wanna share their thoughts or opinion on building item 3116 on a Ryze ?

Imo:

  • His Q can give a full slow on hit.
  • Technically a mini-Alistar where after he snares with his W, the target will still have to deal with the slows after that.
  • The AoE slows from his E+R can be pretty terrifying, especially when combined with item 3151 .

As a Ryze main, I can say Rylai's isn't really the best item on him. It gives some delicious stats like plenty of HP and hefty wad of AP. However, passive on Rylai's doesn't really seem to be all that effective with his spells. Without your snare you can't do all that much.

In the end, Rylai's makes Ryze even tankier and gives tons of damage. However the CC from it isn't spectacular. With a RoA, SE, and Rylai's, you should be very tanky.
