how is yasuo stat checking?

Q can be dodged, even with max animation reduction by attack speed

0:55 https://youtu.be/Vc_9mRdDFqg?t=54

W can be played around especially as a melee champion as the wall is moving forward R cannot be cast without tornado, and both tornado and E+Q can be dodged without forgetting that without ult yasuo doesn't have anti-armor ability and will have a disaventage against a bruiser

how is that stat checking?

Yi presses E+R, point and click ranged dash (600 instead of 400) with untargeablity that makes you unable to cc him unlike yasuo dash that can be stopped, then right click you with his double hit passive true damage and attack speed?

LMFAO and this thread is being upvoted? dafuq

yeah, because Yasuo comes into lane with 2 crit items.

Andrey03452 votes

To come into lane with 2 crit items he must be like 6/0 or smth. Statikk + IE requires like 6000 gold. If you count Statikk + cloak, then he wont have decent damage with crit only.

It's 2600+3400. That's not counting control wards jk yasuo players don't ward, potions, doran's blade/shield and boots. So it's closer to around 6800-7200.

All he does is annoy the opponent even when only nerfed, but he doesn't stat check at all so I'll just say that he does to sound reasonable.

fix'd

I really hate to be the unpopular opinion guy, but if you're still losing to Yasuo in 2017, you're either terrible at this game or chose an unfavorable matchup. I honestly haven't lost lane to a Yasuo in a long time; I'm not pumping my chest touting my skills either, but it's simply a matter of playing smart and knowing what Yasuo is going to do. Malz and Morde skill counter the ever living shit out of Yasuo.

"But counterpicking is not counterplaying", you can literally beat Yasuo with /almost/ anyone provided you're smarter than your opponent. 70+% of the playerbase is Bronze or Silver and I guess if they can't just face tank 1v1 an opponent it means that said opponent is overpowered.

I totally agree with you, but people dont like Yasuo in 2017 not because he's op, but because they see him in every game and he's getting annoying to face every time. But yeah, imo, he's not worth calling overpowered.

This I absolutely agree with. If I saw Ryze every single game, despite him being one of the worst champions right now (and for a long time), I would probably get sick of it. People like change, I get that.

Not to mention that counterpicking != counterplaying is flat out wrong. Do you know the difference between playing against a Riven the playing against a Galio as Malphite is? Whether or not it's them or you who's getting completely tossed out of lane, and Riven isn't even that punished by Malphite.

I mean I guess it's not much of a surprise that this mentality has been so ingrained into people's heads when they're so busy bainning Yasuo instead of, y'know, the champions that will actually tear their assholes asunder without some heavy skill advantage on their half. Riot doesn't want to make counterpicking in League as potent as it is in DOTA, sure, but that still leaves plenty of room for effective counterpicks and strong match ups.

I think the biggest problem with this statement is that it's almost never the laner that faces Yasuo that bans them in Bronze/Silver - it's the other lanes that don't want to have to deal with the chance that their solo laner doesn't know how to play the matchup.

Thus, it's not that we don't know how to play the matchup, it's more that we don't want to have to deal with a Yasuo that's fed late-game.

exactly, riot doesn't want to admit that, and allow other champions to stat check ...

I thought it was because if he's on your team he goes 0/15/2 in 10 minutes and if he's on the enemy team he goes 21/1/7 in 10 minutes, also because no matter how you dumpster him as soon as he gets 3 kills by accident he's back in business no matter what. Oh and his wall, not only is a rectangle where he can hide inside rather than just a "wall" (let's say it's more of a warehouse) but it also has a taunt passive that forces every player to waste 60% of a teamfight damage on his wall just to prove him we're not afraid of his tricks.

Andrey03453 votes

3 kills by accident? Do you understand what that is? At high elo he might get max 1-2 kills and then nobody will ever get close to him and then destroy him in late game.

If he's right inside his wall, then he wont be safe there. The wall is thin, yasuo will still get hit by projectiles. But he can maneuver back and forth to stay behind wall.

taunt passive that forces every player to waste 60% of a teamfight damage on his wall just to prove him we're not afraid of his tricks.

In high elo he's much more manageable because he relies on splitpushing to be effective and they're such geniuses that they know how to play against that, so he gets easily outmaneuvered with rotations (same as irelia/trynda/fiora and so on), in teamfights he needs to be set up because he has ways to go in but he can't get out on his own.

The problem with his BS wall is that it's coded just as azir's ult, so it starts BEHIND HIM and it also destroys every projectile, so he can use it to destroy even projectiles that have already hit him, also the wall is actually a small ground space because it probably has the same hitbox of azir's wall, and it was meant to give allies movement speed pretty much like ori's ball before it was nerfed (azir ult).
