I upgraded my World Championship Icon into the golden tier 2, but how do I flash the banner emote?

I got the World Championship icon cause it was 1 IP and I got the bundle of Championship Chests for the free ward; using the jewels my bundle got me, I upgraded the World Championship icon to the golden tier 2 World Championship icon but I can't seem to get it to flash the banner emote in-game.

I figured it would simply be ctrl +5 or ctrl +6 but neither of those seem to work. I've tried both with and without the icon on as well. So anyone know how I can flash this little thing I get? Or does the World Championship icon not get a banner? I know it doesn't get a recall like the team icons, but having a golden tier 2, I figured it would have the banner emote still. Also, I do need to have the icon on to flash the emote, right? I assume I do, but I figured I might as well ask while I'm here.
