Anyone else think Camille looks like she has a lot of.....extraneous power?

In no way am I trying to make an astute or definite call, she's just been announced, I get it.

But she seems to display a lot of warning signs - she basically has everything a fighter would want - mobility, % damage, hard and soft CC, true damage, healing, shielding, speed boost, and a massive amount of utility on her ultimate. She quite literally brings everything to the table.....and doesn't seem to lack anything in her kit at all, which is just a bit troubling. Typically, champions with a lot of stuff in their kit have proven difficult to balance in the past. Ekko Fiora Renekton

And there is a lot in her kit that doesn't even make thematic or gameplay sense - why does her W heal and deal % max damage health if its literally just her slashing at you with her leg blades? Does she really need movement speed on her Q, when she's already probably going to LOVE Triforce? If she's a physical damage diver, does she really need magic damage on her auto-attacks within her ult?

That's just my two cents.

You're far from the only one that thinks that. I can see the flood of threads at her live release already.

If you look at the gameplay clips, she sacrifices damage, she probably doesn't scale well or can't deal damage unless she builds it completely, and likewise won't be tanky unless she build tanky so she won't have the best of both worlds like tank fiora or tank ekko did.

In her passive, it scales off of health, ekko's scaled with AP which was a major issue so they learned that a champion has to build tanky to be tanky.

Her percent health damage is there so they dont give her flat damage that makes her burst enemies on her W. The slow probably is too high but not to overloaded considering she has to position to get it and her heal, similar to darius needing to position to get his Q heal.

Every duelist needs a damage ability, Camille's is her Q, if she didn't have that she wouldn't be able to duel people anyway or it would be much harder so that's why she has it along with the speed buff.

Her ultimate is DEFINITELY strong but considering that's the vast majority of her power cost(how much power goes into ones kit) it's fair, with champions like Ekko,Azir,Kalista, Aatrox and Yasuo riot forgot about power cost and basically put WAY to much in their kits without taking into account the implications so they don't really sacrifice anything for what their kit has but camille seems too we'll just have to wait until her release.

(PS: Aatrox was nerfed into the ground for a reason, it's cause he's too strong.)

I'm not coming back to this game. Why would they make a Fighter version of Azir? What the fuck are they thinking?
