But… what does the new Seraph's Embrace do?

With the AP itemization changes, Archangel's Staff got a significant change. However, in the long post by Riot about the AP items, Seraph's was never mentioned, despite it (assumingly) still existing. So, that begs the question. What does the new Seraph's Embrace do? What are its stats, its passives, etc.

what?

they said it's intended to be THE scaling item of mages

and they're rgith, with all the new mana items you can legit get 200 ap from seraphin

without rabadon's amplification

It still exists, I assume. It's just not mentioned because all changes carry over to it.

Odds are it gets the changes to Archangel's, while keeping its original core identity.

probably as on life: same stats as archangel but with the shield active and 1400mana rather than 650+stacks

For me, Serpah is now the best item for apler in league. So many items contains mana now (like Ludens). If you take an example with Malzahar, and you go for early tear and rush ludens + seraph you got so much dmg and cdr.. No need to talk about the huge shield and ap..
