Suggestions about changing Brand to be less oppressive to lane against while making him a better mid
Okay, so before everyone starts throwing pyroclasm at me, hear me out, and be constructive if i can ask that. Brand is a little bit too opressive to play against even tho i main him and know how to play against him. These changes would(try) to make him a better champion overall, while cutting some power here and there, and putting it elsewhere. He is supposed to be the go-to AOE mage, but his kit other than his passive wasnt really changed to represent, or help that. In 6.9 his base dmg on his kit has been lowered by 150 and 55%AP overall. To compensate for this he got a huge amount of max hp base dmg on his kit. Most of these changes are towards mid lane Brand, and waveclrearing in particular(regarding his E).
PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE COMMENTING.
So the list of changes:
Base stats:
Healt lowered from 519,7 to 500.
Healt regen decresed from 5,5 to 5.
Healt per level increased to 98 from 88, max healt increased to 2166 from 2015,7
Passive:
-Changed:Mana restoring on killing ablazed targets changed from 6-18/unit from lvl1-18 to 2%/unit of Brands maximum mana at all ranks. Somewhat neutral change if he doesnt build any mana.
-Blaze dmg per spells reduced from 4% to 2% per spell.
-New effect:"Only you" 3 Stacked passive primary target now takes dmg as single target, everyone else takes dmg as AOE. This means that 3 stacked passive should deal dmg to those who are untargetable. (Works like ignite).
-New effect:HOT HOT HOT:When a new blaze stack is applied to an already ablaze target the remaining dmg from the previous blaze is applied as bonus dmg.(Like Udyrs Q DoT dmg)
-Changed:"Im on a short fuse":3 Stacked passive explosion duration changed from 2 seconds to 0.75
-3 Stacked passive dmg reduced from 16% of max hp at lvl9 to 100+10%max hp, at lvl6. Flat base is 10-100, +18/lvl, at lvls 1-6. Max hp is 7% at lvl 3, +1%/lvl, both capped at lvl6.
-3 Stacked passive dmg AP ratio changed from 1,5% per 100AP to 3%
-Q, Changed:Mana costs increased from 50 at all ranks to 60.
-W, damage changed from 75/120/165/210/255 +60% AP to 75/115/155/195/235 +70% AP
-E Changed:Mana costs changed from 70/75/80/85/90 to 60/65/70/75/80.
-E, AP ratio increased from 35% to 40%.
-E, cast range reverted to 675 from 625.
-E, New effect:"Spread like wildfire":When Conflagration, spreads to an already ablaze target, it spreads Conflagration further. One target can only take dmg, and blaze stack once per Conflagration (imagine like ryze flux).
-E, New effect:"Burn them alive":If Conflagration hits an ablaze target the spread range is increased by 75% against that type of enemy.(Separate spread range for minions/monsters/champs depending on the primary target. If you hit a minion as the primary target, then all minions will be hit in 656.25 range but champs and monsters will on be effected in 375 range).
-E, Now has a bonus on hit dmg against minions,and monsters that scales with Brands lvl. 1-9lvl from 20-100.
-R New effect:"Vengeance":If the primary target has 3 blaze stacks, it explodes on Pyroclasms impact.
-R, Cooldown changed from 105/90/75 to 120/90/60.
(For consistency sake Brands passive Blaze should work the same way like Lulu's in regards of spellthiefs, meaning it should proc 2 stacks. Since Blaze is a different ability that does dmg, and it does not do dmg at the same time as the ability that procs it. But it doesnt work like that cos rito.)
What are your thoughts? I've tried to decrease on his obvious strenghts that are too strong and make his waveclear and his ability to spread blaze a little better.
