Can AP Champions get some more Active Items? Not purely defensive ones?

The movement speed of Ghostblade and BotRK allow them to be used both offensively and defensively, and the Hydras have an active used every few seconds. Meanwhile Hourglass and Seraphs are purely defensive, Banner and Crucible are actives used only on others, with Frost Queens Claim being the only multipurpose active available.

I'd really like to see an AP item that has an active that's useful both offensively and defensively. Yes, some champions can use Zhonyas offensively, but that's because their kit allows it (contrast to the Ghostblade or BotRK, which can be used both ways by any champion that buys them).
